Jungkook went ahead to feed himself with my leftover dinner.
"Why are you here?" I asked, leaning against the doorway, brows furrowed out of confusion.
He ignored me and continued to stuff his mouth with stew.
"I'm glad you like it," I said, walking over to the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water.
"You made this? I was just about to complain about how gross it was," he threw the spoon in the bowl after finishing it completely.
"Hard to believe when you finished 3 bowls alone." I placed the water on the counter in front of him.
He stared at it for a minute before finally taking it in his hand and opening it.
"Do you not eat?" I asked, becoming concerned.
He smiled. "I do, but it's like I don't. I'm always alone when I eat so it's not really eating to me, it's filling a void."
I blinked hard. I was becoming more and more concerned by the second.
"Do you make yourself a proper meal? Like, at all?" I asked, moving to the counter and lifting myself to sit on it.
"If I didn't, would I get the grades I get?" He turned his head and made eye contact.
"I take it you live alone," I quickly flicked my eyes down to my hands and inspected my nails.
"Yeah." he placed his bowl in the sick and left it.
"You can't even wash your dishes, huh?" I smirked at my hands.
He moved to the counter beside me. "Nope."
I laughed slightly. "Typical. I shouldn't have expected you to finish such a task."
He sighed. "I'm more than capable."
"Are you, now? Then why don't you?" I motioned towards the sink.
He laughed. "I'm okay."
I wiped the smile off my face. "So, remind me why you're here."
"You seem lonely." he sipped his water.
"Only someone who is lonely would say that." I smiled at the white wall across from me.
He nearly spit his water out. "Me? Lonely? No."
"Then why are you here?" I turned my head and looked at him, who was still staring at his feet.
He hopped off the counter and began to walk out of the kitchen. "To brag about my 99%."
I scowled. "Of course."
He wandered around the living room and into my bedroom. I followed him quickly, watching his every move.
He scanned my room walls up and down, and examined my desk.
"Question 14 is wrong." he continued walking.
I ran over to the desk and stared at question 14, trying to find my mistake.
I vigorously erased all my writing and re read the question.
"It's 39. Not 31." he stared at the books on my shelf.
I sighed and recalculated. Not to my surprise, he was right.
"Thanks." I almost wanted to kick him out.
"You read a lot?" He asked as he pulled books off my shelves.
"No, they're just there for complete and utter fun." I fell flat with sarcasm.
He rolled his eyes, smiling and pushed the book by its spine back into its slot.
I sighed and watched him make his way to my smaller TV sitting against the wall of my room.
He inspected it for a moment before lowering his eyes to the games and wires scattered all over the floor.
"I take it you play," he said, picking up the controller.

"Yeah." I said, sitting on my bed, watching him closely as he ran his fingers over the buttons carefully.

He placed the controller back down. "We should play sometime."

"What's your user?" I asked, grabbing my phone to note down his answer.

"Not now. I'm yet to buy another console for my new place." He turned and faced me, making eye contact as I turned my phone off.

I shoved my phone in my pocket, realizing I was wearing sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt.

Flattering.

I stopped for a moment out of slight embarrassment before raising my eyes to see him smiling.

"Don't worry about the outfit. I prefer sweatpants too."

Can you read my mind? I thought.

I cleared my throat gently. "Good to know."

He smirked and slowly made his way out of my room and down my front hall until he froze, standing in front of the main door.

He didn't turn around. "Thank you."

"For what?" I questioned, leaning against the doorway to the kitchen, examining the back of his head.

I could feel his smirk as he opened the door and walked to the other side before finally turning his head to me. "Never mind."

He pulled the door shut and I heard his footsteps trace down the hall until I heard his door shut and lock snap.

I cocked my head, still staring at the now empty space.

What a kid.
