My phone shut off since I hadn't touched the screen to type the username.

"g-goldjeon?" I stuttered. "What?"

"Problem?" The small smirk rose on his face and he sipped his coffee.

I shook my head, smirking at my hands which gripped the paper cup so tightly it could burst.

"That can't be right. goldjeon is a caring, loving and sweet person. That's not you." I sat back and my lips landed on the rim of the lid.

His fingers ran over the top of his cup and he watched them closely. "Wow, that's insulting."

I sipped my coffee slowly, letting the warm, sweet liquid run around my mouth before I felt it travel down my throat.

"It wouldn't be insulting if you accepted the facts. You can't be him."

He smiled and put his cup on the table, standing up. He pulled his jacket over his shoulders and held his hand across the table to help me up. "Then shall we get some proof?"

I stared at his hand in denial. "Excuse me?"

"Let's go." His hand floated in the air, twitching slightly while he waited for my hand to take it.

I gave in. I grabbed his hand, still hot from holding the coffee and pulled myself out of my chair slowly. I was beyond confused, not knowing what to say at all, so no words fell over my lips anymore.

He picked his coffee up and nodded towards the door. "This has been a day,"

He sipped his coffee and swallowed it quickly.

"But I guess it's over now. We're going home."

-

His door opened with a snap and I walked in like I always would. I didn't hesitate or act oddly about it. I slipped my shoes off and tugged at the zipper on my jacket. I was being so harsh, it got stuck.

Jungkook hung his jacket in the closet and the door slid shut. He eyed me, holding coffee in one hand and biting the fabric of my jacket to try and pull the zipper. He laughed and stood infront of me, making me freeze and my teeth released the fabric.

My hand dropped and he grabbed my zipper, tugging it gently and releasing the small piece of fabric that kept it from unzipping. I sighed with relief when the zipper fell to the bottom of the teeth and my jacket slid off my shoulders.

I put my coffee on the floor at my feet and shook the jacket off, pulling it off my arms as suddenly Jungkook pulled at it too.

He took my jacket and hung it next to his in the hall closet.

"Why are you hanging it there? Can't I just hang it here?" I pointed at the small coat hanger that was mounted on the wall beside the main door. I usually hung my jacket there.

He smiled and the door slid shut again, as he picked my coffee up beside my feet and placed it back into my hands. "That coat hook is for guests."

I furrowed my brows. "I'm not a guest?"

He laughed slightly and walked down the front hall, into his living room and turned back to me, still standing at the front door.

Suddenly everything got hotter. It was like the heat in the apartment was a sauna, and my coffee was a hot stone. I wanted to wince at the heat but his eyes, locked on mine, forced me to remain still.

"You're not." He flicked on the light. "You live here."

My jaw unhinged and practically fell to the floors. I could feel every particle in the air as it hit my skin and I couldn't seem to get air into my lungs. "I-I what?"

He got a kick out of my reaction, rolling his eyes with a gigantic smile on his face. It kept growing with the second. "You're so gullible. I'm just trying to keep this place tidy."

I exhaled with relief and I don't know why. Living with Jungkook; the idea excited me, but at the same time I panicked over it and I didn't want it to be real.

He threw himself onto the couch and turned the TV on. The screen lit up slowly and he switched the input to reveal his playstation input.

I examined the screen, desperate to find another username to assure myself it was not him, but nothing to suffice. My eyes ran up and down the screen and he opened his profile page, straight face and he said nothing.

The page opened and I wanted to shut my eyes to avoid seeing the name. I felt a similar anxiety as I did the night I first met him.

goldjeon.

The screen displayed his username across the top. There was no mistaking it now.

He was goldjeon.

I smiled and then bit it back again. My teeth grit and I turned my head to Jungkook. He kept his eyes on the screen, rearranging settings and avoiding eye contact.

"So, you saw it. It's me." Jungkook's eyes squinted at the screen as the buttons clicked repeatedly.

I didn't know what to say. I threw myself against the back of the couch and sighed deeply. "You're right."

His controller dropped into his lap and the room went silent.

"Y'know," I spoke again, pausing for a moment before speaking again. "What you did wasn't cool."

He laughed to himself and finally made eye contact, biting down the smile that tried to form on his lips. "Wasn't it though?"

I tried not to laugh, but his stupid smirk made it impossible not to. We both laughed for a while, forgetting the conversation, but I remembered it when the room went quiet again.

"Seriously." I turned my head.

His eyes stared at the ceiling and the smile hadn't faded yet. He sighed and blinked a few times before his head fell to his left and his dark brown eyes begged for something; I wasn't sure what. His soft lips curled in, under his teeth, before bouncing back. His cheeks were a warm, blush pink, colour strong against his pale skin. His hair, dark as night and messy from the strong end-of-fall winds, fell over his face and sprawled against the couch cushions that supported his head.

"So what? What's a little bit of unfair play?"

end.
