I stormed out of school, catching the bus to take me back home. I purposely caught the first bus knowing Jungkook takes the second. I didn't have the courage, nor the energy to face him again. I hated his bragging.
I leaned my head against the window as my eyes shut and I sighed deeply, somehow feeling horrible about such a good mark.
I heard each stop be called and I heard mine up next, so with my eyes still shut I pulled the bell to stop.
I heard the squeaking of the brakes as the announcer came over the speakers, stating that we had arrived at my stop.
I pulled myself out of my seat and threw my backpack over my shoulder. I made my way through the aisles and stepped off the bus, letting the sun hit my black hair and the wind pulling over my head. I stopped for a moment before turning to my left and walking in the direction that took me back to my apartment building.
I shoved my earbuds in and walked for a few short minutes before arriving at my building, where I took the elevator to the 5th floor as I do every single day. It was empty, as usual, because everyone was still at work and most kids come home on the second bus instead of the first.
I pulled my key out of my backpack as I got off the elevator, untangling the lanyard and picked out my house key, slowly pulling up to my door.
511.
I slid the key into the lock and turned it halfway to the right, hearing the click as I turned the handle and I opened the door. I heard it click again as I assured I locked it behind me.
I was beginning to become worried that someone had followed me home, or maybe the hacker had installed a camera on my door or bugged my house. My anxiety seemed to be coming up with endless possibilities and endless ways as to how my life was in jeopardy.
I threw my bag across the room and walked into the kitchen to grab myself water. I pulled on the fridge door and grabbed a water bottle from the top shelf.
I broke it open and took a sip, squeezing my eyes shut tight hoping to fight everything my mind was creating; school was stressful, even though I was a 'steady second' with a 98%.
I turned the lid closed and threw the bottle onto the counter before going back to my bedroom to change. I threw on my sweatpants and an oversized sweater, slipping my slippers on and tying my hair up in a messy bun. I turned to face my PlayStation again, and as many thoughts as I could have were all fearful ones.
But somehow, I found the courage to muster my way across the room and press the power button on again.
While my console turned on, I grabbed my phone out of my backpack where I checked my notifications. I found none, which was understandable since it hadn't even been a half hour since the school bell rang.
I shoved my phone in my pocket and grabbed my water off the counter, making my way back to my room. I decided against finishing my homework and to do it later instead.
When I reached for the controller, the screen finally loaded and Minecraft still sat right in front of all the other applications on my console. Taking a shaky breath, I opened the program.
I sipped my water while I waited for the program to open and load my World One, as I anxiously bit my lip.
I opened the world to find the so-called goldjeon wasn't online.
Silently, I had many questions as to where he could be, but at the same time, I almost didn't want the player to show up.
I decided to search around. The gold and diamond mansions filled some of the empty space. Everything was built with intricate and technical detail; leaving me to really second guess who this character was.
How does one player do this all?
Then it convinced me once again that the player was a hacker. The anxiety started to creep back up as a notification popped up.
My heart pounded harder and louder than it ever had.

**goldjeon is online.
