'Honey, I'm home!' Luke called out. I slowly trailed behind him and closed the door. He placed his hand in front of me and I took my jacket off. He grabbed it from my hand, slowly placing it on the coat hanger. He did the same to his. He smiled at me and waved his hand to follow him. We both walked over to the living room and noticed Carol sat down watching the Olympics. 'Babe.' She smiled, walking up to him and giving him a light peck on the cheek before giving him a tight hug. I didn't really want to look so I awkwardly stared at the ground. It was getting pretty awkward but after a few seconds later, which felt like hours, Carol let go. 'Babe, I hope its fine if Alice stays for a few days.' He looked at me. I smiled at Carol but she just narrowed her eyes at me, when Luke wasn't looking at her. But as he turned to face her, her evil expression vanished and was replaced by an innocent, angelic smile. She nodded her head, 'Of course she can stay for a few days. I'd really like that.' Her cold voice sent me shivers. I sensed sarcasm there and I just want to leave the freaking house already when I haven't even been there for five minutes. 'Great!' Luke smiled, 'Well then, I'm off for a shower. Will you show Alice to her room?' Luke asked Carol. 'Yeah sure.' Luke smiled at me before walking up the stairs. I sat down on one of the sofas and stared at Carol who cocked an eyebrow at me. 'Sorry.' I muttered and got up from the sofa. 'Just because I'm letting you stay for a few days, doesn't mean I freaking like you. If I find out you're doing something to my boyfriend, I won't even be having second thoughts about killing you.' I was getting pretty scared of this girl. 'I'm not even kidding.' She continued, rolling her eyes at me as she stomped off. This was not a good idea...
