'Why have you got your hand over your cheek?' Luke asked. I rolled my eyes at him and started walking off but he just grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him. I still had my hand covering my cheek though. I didn't want him to see the bruise. I also wore a long sleeve top on purpose so that no one would be able to see the bruises on my arms. 'Ow!' I cringed. He had accidently pressed his fingers on the bruises on my arm. 'What's wrong?!' He frowned. I shrugged and pulled my arm away from his hand. He grabbed my hand from my cheek and placed it down beside me. 'What happened?!' He stared at the big bruise on my cheek. It was kind of shaped like a hand but you had to look very carefully in order to see it. I tried my best to cover it up with lots and lots of foundation but it didn't seem to go away and just made it look even worse. 'Nothing.' I mumbled. 'NOTHING?!' He repeated what I said, 'Are you kidding me?! You've got a massive bruise on your cheek and your telling me nothing happened.' He was pretty annoyed, 'Don't lie, Alice.' 'I just bumped my cheek against a bookshelf!' I lied, 'It's nothing!!' He shook his head, 'You're a great liar, Alice.' I could sense a bit of sarcasm in the air. 'Fine, don't believe me! I don't care!' I rolled my eyes at him. 'Did Reece do this to you?' 'Hell NO!' I will never tell him that Reece did this to me. He'll just get hurt and everything will just end up being a disaster. 'My husband is a good husband. He would never do anything like this to me. Why won't you believe me?!' 'If that's what you want me to believe then fine. But I'm telling you Alice, if I find out he did this to you or is hurting you, I'm not going to have second thoughts about punching his face.' He yelled. I shook my head, 'Maybe you were right. Maybe it is time to forget everything what happened between us in the past. You get on with your life and I'll get on with mine.' I rolled my eyes and walked off.
