I stared at the computer screen on my desk and made notes for my new boss' meetings. I sighed as I copied the text up on my screen onto my diary. 'Alice!' I heard a whisper behind me. It was Steph. I raised my eyebrow at her but she just rolled her eyes and told me to go to her desk. I slowly walked over to her desk and sat on a chair next to her. 'So what do you think?' She smirked. 'Think of what?!' I frowned. 'Think of our new boss? He's hot right?!' She smiled. I didn't answer her question and just stared at some paperclips in a plastic box. 'Alice?' 'Steph, I have a husband. I'm no longer single.' I whispered. 'So, you're not allowed to look at other guys now other than your husband?' 'Yeah, Of course. I'm happily married to the perfect husband ever.' I grinned. 'So you don't think he's hot at all?' I looked at her for a few seconds then shook my head. I was lying. She rolled her eyes at me, 'Do you know his name?' 'Luke.' I sighed. 'Luke? What made you think that? Do you know him?' I ignored her question and quickly got up from my seat, 'I got to go!' I quickly walked back to my desk but heard her shout, 'How do you know, Alice? Have you guys ever met?' I closed my eyes and sat back down on my chair, 'Yes, Steph. And that was the biggest mistake of my life.' I whispered to myself.
