A Love Story 2- Part 18

I slowly opened my eyes as I heard a loud bang against the lopsided lift. I looked up and noticed my head leaning against Luke's shoulder who was fast asleep. I shook Luke and he woke up. The lift started making screechy noises by which we both knew it was Reece coming to help us. We both slowly stood up and waited for the fire brigade to open the lift doors. I looked at Luke who looked fairly disappointed for some reason, I don't even understand why. I grabbed my phone in my bag to check the time but it was dead. I knew it was morning now and Luke and I had spent all night in the cold lift. As I saw the blades of the machine, they were using to cut through the lift, I gazed at Luke for a second. He looked back at me and scratched the back of his neck. 'What?' He smirked. 'Nothing.. I just...' I stuttered, 'I just want to thank you. I know I was a bitch last night but let's just forget about it. I'm sorry.' I muttered. He smiled at me and whispered, 'It's fine.' After a couple of minutes later the people had finally managed to cut through the lift and I quickly got out and saw Reece. I jumped into his arms and he hugged me tightly. 'Babe! Are you ok?' Reece said placing the strands of hair on my face behind my ears. My hair was a complete mess and the light blindened my eyes but I didn't care. I had missed him so much. I can't believe I spent ten hours and twenty minutes in the lift with Luke- pitch bl@ck. I quickly nodded my head and he kissed me on the lips. Then I saw him look behind me like he'd seen a ghost. I slowly turned around and noticed Luke walking out the lift. He looked at both me and Reece. It was quite awkward in all fairness. 'WHY YOU FUCKING LITTLE ...' Reece quickly ran up to Luke and grabbed him from his collar pushing him against the wall. 'WHY THE FUCK WERE YOU WITH MY WIFE!?! What did you do to her?' He yelled. I quickly grabbed Reece's arm but he was too strong and it didn't even affect him. He punched him across the face. 'Reece! No! Stop!' I yelled. 'I didn't do anything to her, Reece.' Luke calmly replied. It was like he didn't even care about the fact that Reece could knock him down in seconds. But it was true. Nothing happened between us- well apart from that little 'incident' but it didn't mean anything to both of us so it was ok, right? 'Reece! Come on!!' I pulled Reece's arm and luckily he followed me. 'I'm keeping an eye on you, Taylor!' He coldly replied, narrowing his eyes at him as we quickly walked out the building...
