I slowly followed her up the stairs and she lead me to a medium sized room that was decorated with flowers. It was clean and I could smell the sweet scent of candles. However, my room was right next to her's and Luke's. I could literally hear what they were talking about. I heard the shower turned on in their room and I could hear him mumbling a song. I smirked to myself as I tried to guess the song- he still has the voice, I must say. I slowly walked into my room, placing my bag on the ground. 'Thanks Carol.' I smiled. 'Whatever.' She rolled her eyes at me and walked off. I laid on the double-bed and closed my eyes for a few seconds. I just had to relax for a bit and blank out all my problems before my brain starts to explode. I didn't really know where to begin- what problem shall I start to fix?! I opened my eyes until I felt a t-shirt and long shorts thrown directly at my face. I got up from the bed and noticed Carol smirking at me, 'You can borrow it for now.' But before I could thank her she had already walked back in her room and shut the door lock. 'Thank you.' I mumbled to myself. After awkwardly standing at their room door for a few minutes, I decided to go back to my room and closed the door. I took a hot shower and placed the clothes Carol let me borrowed on. I got in bed and shuffled to my side. Why is it that at night, it's always the time where you think about your problems and how you can fix them but not at day time? I sighed and shook my problems out my head. As I was about to close my eyes, I heard laughing coming from Luke and Carol's room. I got up from my bed and walked up to a wall, placing my ear against it. 'Babe, It's not like that. You put the batteries in like this.' Luke laughed. 'Fine, you just do it then.' Carol laughed. I heard the TV turned on too so I'm guessing their putting batteries on a remote. 'Yes!' Carol screamed, 'It works!' She laughed. There was a moment of silence and all I heard was the TV babbling on about the news. Were they kissing or were they just watching? I sighed at all these questions going in my head. As I was about to walk back to bed, Carol said, 'I love you, babe.' Luke replied, 'Mmm... Me too.' That stung like hell. I can't believe I still love him... I've made the biggest mistake of my life.
