*Five Years Later*

'Good morning, Alice.' Steph smiled as I walked through the automatic doors. I smiled back, almost running towards her desk. Steph was one of my closest office friend. She was the receptionist for the business we both work for, 'Philip & Co' I have been working for the business for the past six months now and I've made a lot of new friends. I work as my boss's personal assistant and I have to make sure every single meeting he has is written down onto my diary. It's hard work but once you get used to it, everything gets better. As I walked round her desk, I gave her a quick hug. 'Good morning.' I smiled. 'Did you hear, Alice?!?!' She laughed excitedly. 'Hear what?' I raised my eyebrow. 'We've got a new boss.' She smirked. That look on her face gave me a weird feeling in my stomach. For some reason, just seeing that smile made me cringe. I don't know why I was feeling like that. 'New boss?' I raised my eyebrow again. 'Did they not tell you?!' I shook my head, 'The boss is retiring and he's giving this business to his nephew. I saw him earlier. He's having his first look around the business today.' She smirked again, 'Gosh! He's so cute!' I faked a smile. We have a new boss? What?! But.. I really like my boss, he was really nice to me and now there's going to be a new one? I sighed at the thought. As I looked at Steph for a few seconds, a faint smile appeared on my face. 'I got to go. I'm going to be late.' I said. She smiled back, 'Ok, but will you give this to our new boss? He needs it.' She handed me a pile of A4 paper which had information about everything in the business. I smiled at her. But she was looking at someone behind me. 'Oh, wait!' She yelled, 'There he is!' She excitedly laughed. I looked around and noticed a brown- haired guy in a bl@ck suit with his back against us. He quickly walked closer to the lift and I tried my hardest to catch up with him. 'Excuse me!' I yelled. He stopped for a second as I ran towards him. But unfortunately, I lost my balance and dropped all the pieces of paper onto the ground. He ignored me and carried on walking towards the lift. 'Ignorant!' I rolled my eyes at him as he disappeared from the distance.
