Chapter 35

Wednesday, February 10th 2020

The Valentine's Day Dance was only four days away and the feeling of love was quickly spreading throughout the school. All of the couples within the school had already confirmed that they would be going. This was Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella, Miz and Maryse and Roman and Paige.

AJ and Charlotte, although they were not truly a couple, had also confirmed that they would be attending the dance together.

This was looking like a popular choice for members of The Club as Luke Gallows and Dana Brooke were also going together, as well as Karl Anderson and Alicia Fox.

At break that day, Dean, Seth and Renee all decided to go and pay for their tickets. They approached the student council's table which saw all of them presently seated.

Renee Young- "Hey, guys, is it ok for us all to pay our money for the dance right now?"

Sami Zayn- "Of course. Bayley will take the money, she is in charge of keeping that safe."

Renee had taken Dean and Seth's money too and handed it all over to Bayley, who put it in a small metal lockbox that she kept in her bag.

Renee Young- "You really take security seriously around here."

Bayley Martinez- "You can never be too safe. I feel more comfortable the safer that money is."

Seth Rollins- "Do we get our paper tickets right now or later?"

Becky Lynch- "I almost forgot about that. I will give you them now."

Becky stamped the back of the paper tickets with a stamp with the date they were bought on to authenticate them and then handed one of them each to Seth, Dean and Renee.

Natalya Neidhart- "Will I save you a dance, Dean?"

Dean Ambrose- "Come on, you know that I'm not a dancer."

Seth Rollins- "You were busting some moves after scoring some baskets in the pick up game we had in my driveway."

Dean Ambrose- "That is different."

Renee Young- "And I always see you in the bakery with your earphones in having a dance with yourself."

Dean Ambrose- "I deny any of this happened."

Natalya Neidhart- "It will be fun, I promise."

Dean Ambrose- "You are all lucky I am even going to this thing in the first place. Don't push your luck and try and get me to sing and dance and be all jolly."

Sasha Banks- "I know for a fact that you will have fun. You need to smile more, be happy for a change."

Dean Ambrose- "When you have seen some of the things that I've seen, it makes it harder to smile."

Everyone in the conversation went silent.

Dean Ambrose- "Where's Roman and Paige? They can be grumpy with me."

Dean walked away to try and find his other friends. Seth was the first to break the silence.

Seth Rollins- "Has he always been like that?"

Sasha Banks- "Yep."

Sami Zayn- "Pretty much."

Renee Young- "For as long as I've known him."

Seth Rollins- "Maybe if we found out what made him feel that way then we could help him."

Sasha Banks- "It is really rude to pry, Seth."
