Chapter 69

Tuesday, May 29th 2020

It had had officially been two weeks to the day that Dean was last at school. The bombshell that AJ had dropped about his past not only had an effect on Dean but also those closest to him. The main people who were worried about him had diverted their attention to getting Dean's brothers in arms, Seth and Roman, back to school and in good condition, or at least most of the group had turned their attention.

That morning Sasha, Becky, and Bayley, were sitting in the cafeteria on facetime to Seth.

Sasha Banks- "It's nice to get to see your face again. It has been a while."

Seth Rollins- "Yeah, I know, and I'm sorry for that but I was worried about how I looked. Look what you people have done to me, I used to be the outcast that didn't give a damn how I came across and now I spend six months here and I worry I look too beaten up."

Becky Lynch- "It's the social pressures of a judgemental school year."

Seth Rollins- "Word to that."

Sasha Banks- "When do you think you will be back?"

Seth Rollins- "It's a difficult one because of the concussion. I am currently going through some impact testing in my PT sessions just to make sure I'm not going to get another concussion if I fall over, which is a big concern because once you get one it becomes easier and easier to get another one and then they start racking up and it just becomes one big mess."

Bayley Martinez- "That doesn't sound like a specifc date to me Seth."

Seth Rollins- "Maybe Friday. We will just have to wait and see how it goes."

Sasha Banks- "That's not too bad. It's just a shame none of us have been able to come over and see you."

Seth Rollins- "My parents were terrified when they saw the state I was in and just wanted me to take it easy and stay away from people and conflict. It has actually been quite nice helping my mom around the house when she needs it."

Sasha Banks- "That is adorable, I'm sure she appreciates you helping her out."

Seth Rollins- "She has been baking more and has been giving me cookies constantly. I will have to bring you guys some to try, they are delicious."

Bayley Martinez- "Absolutely, I can never say no to homemade cookies."

Becky Lynch- "Unless Dean makes them, his smell funny."

Seth Rollins- "I will keep that in mind."

Sasha Banks- "Speaking of Dean, have you talked to him much lately."

Seth Rollins- "Not really but I have been quite selfish with my recovery and just tried to focus on getting myself better. I should probably give him a call at some point."

Sasha Banks- "I'm sure he would like to hear from you."

Seth Rollins- "I hope you guys have been keeping an eye on him and are taking good care of him. He is probably really bored without me and Roman there."

The three girls looked at each other to think of an answer that wouldn't give away to Seth that something was wrong.

Becky Lynch- "I don't want to speak for the boy, you will have to ask him yourself when you see him."

Off screen, Sasha and Becky shared a quiet high five.

Seth Rollins- "You know I will, he is my brother, I can't wait to catch up with him. anyway, I have to get going, tell the others I said hi, that I wish them well, and that I will hopefully see them soon."
