Chapter 57

Roman spotted Carmella in the cafeteria, sitting with Charlotte, Dana, and Lana. He walked over but, as he made his way to her, Charlotte took notice.

Charlotte Flair- "Why is Roman coming over?"

Lana Perry- "He probably just wants to complain to you about something AJ did to embarrass him."

Roman cleared his throat before he addressed the table.

Roman Reigns- "Hey, I know that we don't really get on, so I will keep this short and to the point. I need to talk to Carmella, alone."

Carmella was a little taken aback, as she was not expecting Roman to request a conversation with her.

Carmella Dale- "Me?"

Roman Reigns- "Yeah, you."

Carmella stood up from the table and walked just past Roman before responding to him again.

Carmella Dale- "Then let's go."

Roman followed her to a new and empty table, where they sat down together.

Roman Reigns- "Listen, I know this is a little bit out there but I heard that Finn has a thing for you and you don't want anything to do with him?"

Carmella Dale- "This is about Finn? He is dead to me."

Roman Reigns- "Come on, you need to give the kid another chance."

Carmella Dale- "He tried to use me to win a bet against Randy, that is unforgivable behaviour."

Roman Reigns- "I would of asked you out myself if it meant beating Randy at something."

Carmella Dale- "No thanks."

Roman Reigns- "I wasn't serious. Anyway, Finn does all that stuff you girls seem to like."

Carmella Dale- "Like what?"

Roman Reigns- "Well he listens to all of your problems even though most of them are stupid and to do with your clothes."

Carmella Dale- "If I get a stain on my shirt, that is not a stupid problem. I am within my rights to complain."

Roman Reigns- "If I get a stain on my shirt then it's just another day. Finn would sympathise with you, he also has a keen eye for fashion."

Carmella Dale- "I guess that's true. He does always seem to be on top of the latest trends."

Roman Reigns- "Not to mention, he always smells like hair gel, if that's your thing of course."

Carmella Dale. "I do like the smell of hair gel."

Roman Reigns- "See, didn't I tell you that you two should be together. I think you are living in the past and you need to move forward because the only way to improve yourself is to move forward. I think that's how the saying goes, maybe."

Carmella Dale- "Maybe you are right, Roman."

At that moment, Paige entered the cafeteria. She spotted Roman, sitting with Carmella, and decided to wander over to them.

Paige Bevis- "I have to say I am surprised to see you two talking."

Carmella Dale- "Sorry, Paige. I promise you that nothing was going on. I should actually get going, now that I think about it."

Carmella stood up from the table. It was at that moment that Finn, Dean and Renee walked into the cafeteria together.

Carmella Dale- "There is Finn now, thanks for convincing me to give him another shot, Roman."
