TWO WEEKS LATER, NAIA

"Okay, ang rule lang naman ng marriage sa Bible ay iisa. The wife should submit to her husband and the husband should love the wife. Alam ni Jeremy iyan at iyan ang laging dapat mangyari. Huwag na tayong gumaya sa mga mag-asawa na hindi alam ang bagay na iyan dahil hindi sila nagbabasa ng Bible, okay?"

Nangingiting tumango siya. Hinatid ulit siya ng kaibigan sa Airport for the last time round. Marami itong payo na hindi niya na masyadong inintindi dahil masyado siyang excited na makita ulit si Jeremy. But the biblical ones, she put in her heart.

"Tell him everything and let him decide on what to do. Tandaan mong mag-asawa na kayo. He had a say on your life too. You became one with him when you married him."

Iyon ang wala siyang balak gawin. May idea na siya kung ano ang magiging desisyon ni Jeremy kung sakaling malalaman nito ang lahat at kahit hindi siya sigurado ay ayaw niya iyon mangyari. So she planned to keep her mouth shut as long as possible. "Thank you, Soph. I will miss you. Hindi ko alam kung kailan kami makakabalik dito but I'll see you in anyway I could."

"Dapat lang. And I'll see you, friend, kahit nasaan ka. You have to keep me posted. Kami ni Becca. Nasa office pa siya at hindi makaalis dahil sa kanya ko iniwan ang trabaho ko."

She smiled remembering her friend. Makulit ito pero mahal niya. Niyakap niya si Sophia for the last time. "Thank you for bringing me here."

Yumakap din ito sa kanya. "You're welcome and God bless you."

Nang kumalas siya at titigan ang kaibigan ay napansin niya ang nagbabantang luha sa mga mata nito. She smiled at Sophia. "God bless you too." Tinalikuran niya ito dahil ayaw niyang malaman nito na pinanghihinaan siya ng loob sa lahat ng bagay ngayon. She had God, she should be okay.

NEWARK AIRPORT, NEW JERSEY

Jeremy wanted to run and hug his wife when he saw her walking near the carousel. Hinihintay nito ang maleta na lumabas. Instead he walked beside her and spoke. "Ilan ang dala mong maleta?"

Nakita niyang nagulat ito at tumingala sa kanya. "Dalawang maliit lang," mabilis na sagot nito na parang hindi makapaniwala na nasa tabi siya. She was in her usual short dress with short sleeves and flats. She was in pink today and very pretty. Para pa rin itong sixteen years old. She was really blessed to have her, only if she didn't hide herself from him. Kailangan niyang makausap ito ng masinsinan at itanong kung bakit nito ginawa iyon. There must be a big reason. Kung wala ay bakit bigla na lang itong tatawag at makikipag-usap ulit. She had been crying.

Tulad ng utos ng Mama niya almost two months ago ay ipinahanap niya ito with the help of his father. She was found in three weeks at hindi naman mukhang nagtatago. So, he told the search team to just watch her every move. After two weeks of not finding anything relevant sa pagtakas nito ay pinahinto niya ang search team sa pagsubaybay dito.

He already had all the informations that were given to him by Althea even before she called him back. He just tested her honesty and he concluded that the woman really wouldn't lie on anything and that was a big thing to him. Because of that thought lumambot ang damdamin niya dito at naniwala siya na walang iba, even though he almost gave up on her.
