==================================
"The house has ten bedrooms upstairs. The master's bedroom is the first door on the left of the spiral staircase. There is a beautiful garden and outside pool at the back aside from the patio at the front," paliwanag ni Jeremy habang nakatayo sila sa malawak na foyer ng bahay.
The house was big and intended for a rich person.
Nauna siyang maglakad papunta doon. There was a twelve seater mahogany table. It was tall and huge.
"May handaan?" kunot noong tanong niya.
"We are celebrating your homecoming, baby," seryosong sabi nito nang umupo sa kabisera sa kaliwa niya. "They already knew that I am married. And we have to arrange a church wedding very soon."
Tiningnan niya ito. "Puwede namang hindi na."
Umiling si Jeremy. "Hindi puwedeng hindi. Mama should be here anytime to help you. Papupuntahin ko din si Jasmine. You might want to contact your family in Canada and invite them."
Bigla siyang natigilan. Her family should know about her health. Jeremy was looking at her at naghihintay ng sagot niya. "I'll contact them very soon," sabi niya na binaliktad ang nakataob na plato.
Jeremy did the same. Para itong nag-iisip habang kumikilos. "You really need to talk to them about us. About your decision before and about God. And I hope that marrying in our service congregation wouldn't be a hindrance for them to come."
It shouldn't be hard. Obedience with God should be easy. The only issue was the culture, which shouldn't be a hindrance. The sad part was, hindi iyon ang stand ng maraming tao. People were always thinking that if they would do something that was not according to the man's law where they grew up then they were disobeying God. That was not the case at all.
People thought that if they wouldn't try harder to be good then they would be bound for hell. When all the while, the only thing that they needed to do was to believe and have faith in Christ. Jesus will sanctify his people upon salvation. Being righteous was the fruit of salvation. It wasn't the reason of salvation. That was hard to understand by the people.
But because of that, it was easy to accept that she would be dying soon. She had an assurance now that she wouldn't spend eternity in hell. Instead, she would be with Jesus in heaven, which was just so amazing and awesome.
