Claire dialed her uncle's number as she slipped out of the back door. Her dad's would fuss at her if they knew she was calling for the reason she was. It was best she kept it quiet.

"Claire?" The voice on the other end answered.

"Uncle Sammy," Claire grinned though he couldn't see.

"Hey, it's awfully early, what's up?" Sam asked. It was kinda early, but she knew she had to call him before her dad went in to work. Her dad and uncle worked together.

"A friend of mine...well she's not exactly a friend, quite the opposite actually, I'm pretty sure her dad got busted for a DUI, is there anyway, you can check for me?" Claire asked biting her lip anxiously.

"Claire, why do you want to know that?" Sam asked suspiciously.

"I'd like to throw it in her face?" Claire answered sheepishly.

"Claire," Sam said with a sigh.

"She's such a bitch, she makes fun of me cause I have two dad's," Claire huffed out.

"Fine, but I'm going to show you how to do it, so I don't lose my job, alright?" Sam agreed. She knew he'd understand.

"You're the best Uncle Sammy."

Later that day after Claire got off from school she was practically bouncing in her seat when Sam was already at her house.

"Uncle Sam, Uncle Gabe," Claire grinned.

"Hi Claire, nice to see you to," Dean rolled his eyes at his daughter.

"Sorry, hi boss," Claire smiled at Dean. She had called him that since she learned to talk. Cas was her biological dad. Her mom had taken off when she was just a baby. Cas worked for Dean for a few years before they got together, and Cas had always referred to Dean as his boss, and it stuck. Even now at sixteen Claire called him boss. Dean loved it and never corrected it, even after Cas and Dean got married.

"Where's dad?" Claire asked noticing Cas wasn't there.

"He's on the phone with your aunt Charlie," Dean answered gesturing down the hall.

"Hey, kiddo, I got something for you," Gabriel held out a snickers bar. They were her favorite.

"Really?" Claire rolled her eyes with a smile. Gabe always brought her some type of candy when he came over, always. It started when she was three, he would bring her suckers, then suckers turned into skittles, and skittles turned into m&m's then m&m's turned into Reese's, now she got full on snickers bars.

"You're never too old for candy," Gabriel winked at his niece.

Claire laughed as she opened the chocolate bar.

"Uh, Claire, did you want me to help you with your math homework?" Sam asked then giving her a smile.

"You asked Sam to help you with your homework?" Dean asked an eyebrow raised.

"You hate math," Claire shrugged innocently.

"Fair point," Dean nodded.

Sam followed Claire to her room.

"Okay, so I'm going to show you how to hack the FBI database. But don't you dare tell your dad's I showed you this, if Kevin finds out-"

"I know, I know, you could lose your job, don't worry, I won't tell anyone," Claire sighed.

"So this not friend of yours, what's her name?" Sam asked pulling up the proper website.

"Kayla. Kayla Porter," Claire answered with a sneer.

It was hard for Claire, having to explain to people why she didn't have a mom. She had two dad's and had since she was two. Her dad and Dean started dating when Claire was a year old. Her mom had left before she had turned three months, so she never knew her mom. She didn't want to. Dean treated her like a daughter from day one and to Claire he was her dad just as much as Cas was. Sure she had Cas' blue eyes, but she was just as much Dean's as she was Cas'. In fact, Cas often claimed Claire was more like Dean personality wise. She didn't mind having two dad's but Kayla Porter always made her feel bad, like she should be ashamed. She wasn't though, her dad's loved each other and they loved her, what was there to be ashamed about. Her uncle Sam was gay too. Her Aunt Charlie was dating a girl named Dorothy. It was no different than her Uncle Adam dating a girl named Amanda, or her Aunt Donna dating a guy named Doug. They were all happy just the same.

"Hey, some people are cruel, just to be cruel, you can't let them bother you," Sam said putting a hand on her back. Sam had always been the calm one. It was why she went to him. Gabriel would have blown up, same with Dean. Cas would likely want to set up a meeting with Kayla's parents to discuss the problem, Claire would be mortified, so she trusted Sam.

"Just promise me, you won't be malicious," Sam spoke again as he navigated the website.

"I just want to prove to her that my two dad's are better than her one. She try's to make me feel bad about not having a mom, but I'm okay with that," Claire huffed.

"I'm guess you haven't told your dad's about this?" Sam asked.

"Boss would be pissed and probably make a scene. Dad would just want to talk it out, no thank you," Claire rolled her eyes.

"Fair point," Sam nodded.

"Alright, so this is what you do," Sam explained carefully how to hack the account and check someone's credit card records and their wrap sheet.

"Looks like James Porter has been arrested for assault twice, and one DUI," Sam pointed out.

"You know maybe Kayla is just jealous because her dad is a jerk, and you have two awesome dad's," Sam offered gently.

"Well that's not my fault," Claire crossed her arms.

"No, but maybe throwing this in her face isn't the best plan. Perhaps try being sympathetic, invite her over to see how cool your dad's are," Sam shrugged.

Claire grimaced at the idea.

"Just think about it," Sam said before standing up.

Claire leaned back in her computer chair. Uncle Sammy was right, she knew he was, but she was bitter and didn't want to be nice to Kayla.

"Claire, dinner!" Dean called up the stairs.

Claire made her way down the stairs to see her dad's fighting over the serving spoon to use for the lasagna.

"Honey, if you use a pronged spoon, it cups the noodles better," Cas said in a kind tone.

"A spatula works better, because you can cut squares," Dean argued gently.

"Hey, bumblebee," Cas smiled when Claire stepped into focus.

"Hey, dad," Claire grinned, "Why don't you use the spatula to cut the lasagna and the pronged spoon to serve it."

"Great idea Claire bear," Dean winked.

Claire smiled as she watched them work together to dish out dinner. Her dad's were awesome, it made her feel bad for Kayla. Did her dad call her cute nicknames like hers? Maybe uncle Sam was right, maybe instead of throwing it in Kayla's face that her dad was awful, maybe she could let her experience what hers were like.
