"I wish you would have just let me fly us there," Cas sighed, sitting in the front seat of Stiles' car.

"Last time, I threw up six times, no thank you," Stiles shook his head, "Besides, we're almost there."

Stiles was a little bit excited about going to Beacon Hills. He'd remembered why it sounded familiar. It had been years ago, before his dad would take him on hunts. It's was Dean's first hunt. John had demanded that the boys be sixteen before they were allowed to go on their first hunt. Stiles had been fifteen so he stayed back to look after Sam who had only been eleven at the time. He'd taken Sam to park near the hotel they were staying at. He'd run into a couple of people hanging out there. One of them had a younger sister that Sam was now playing with. Cora if he remembered correctly. They'd spent the entire day with the group, and even got dinner with them later. Stiles hadn't wanted to leave, but the hunt had been an easy one and they didn't stay more than one night. He wondered what they were up to now.

"Who is this hunter we're meeting?" Cas asked then, breaking Stiles from his thoughts.

"Uh, Argent, he's primarily a werewolf hunter," Stiles explained. He'd never met the man, but he knew the name well.

Stiles pulled up to the house and threw the car in park, "Let me do the talking."

Cas nodded as he followed Stiles up the steps.

When the door opened, Stiles paused. The person standing on the other side wasn't a man, but a young woman, a young woman who looked all too familiar.

"Allison?" Stiles frowned.

"I'm sorry, have we met?" The woman seemed confused.

"Sorry, uh, you might not remember me, I'm Stiles. We met years ago when-"

"Stiles," Allison exclaimed as if suddenly remembering.

"Wait, you're not...a Winchester?" She cocked her head slightly.

"Yeah," Stiles was thrilled that she remembered him, "Wait are you an Argent?"

"Yes," She laughed, "What are the odds," She gestured for Stiles to come in.

"This is Cas, a friend of mine," Stiles introduced the angel who looked tense.

"Oh, the angel, right? My dad mentioned him. He's pretty popular conversation in the hunter community," Allison smiled at Cas who gave a curt nod.

"Is your dad around?" Stiles frowned looking around the house.

"No, he's in Mexico on a lead. But I have you're here for," Allison went turned then leaving the room.

"Are you alright, Cas?" Stiles noticed the angel seemed uncomfortable.

"I'm fine, Stiles," Cas forced a smile. Truth was he felt oddly possessive of Stiles suddenly and he wasn't sure why.

"Here you go, two rings from war and famine," Allison held out the gold jewelry.

"Thanks," Stiles put them carefully in his bag.

"Do you have to leave immediately? I know Scott, Derek, and Lydia would love to see you," Allison smiled nervously.

Stiles glanced at Cas. Dean would say it was urgent he got back as soon as possible, but Dean wasn't here.

"We haven't eaten, maybe we could grab a bite," Stiles nodded with a smile. He'd be lying if he said he didn't want to see them as well. They were the closest thing he'd ever had to friends.

Cas tried to ignore the way Stiles' eyes roamed over Derek at the dinner table. He'd never seen Stiles so happy before and while it elated him, he felt that possessiveness again, only worse. Derek seemed to interact with Stiles the way Dean often did when a waitress approached. Stiles had called it flirting. Cas wasn't keen on the idea that Derek was flirting with Stiles. Cas had never understood the nature of flirting, but Stiles seemed to be enjoying it.
