After the destruction of the Dark Lord Sauron and the dangerous One Ring of Power, all has been peaceful.
Though there are seven races (Elves, Men, Hobbits, Ents, Orcs, Dwarves, and Trolls), a powerful race has appeared in Middle-earth: Banshees.
These ghastly beings have a deceiving appearance; they come in the form of ethereal women with sweet singing voices.
However, they use their voices as a weapon by letting out a haunting cry; a scream so loud it can kill. While most Banshees look like beautiful maidens, there is a separate species called "Scavengers". Taking a feminine shape, they are hideous creatures with enhanced senses that cannot speak, but still scream. Banshees often have wings that are either those of a raven or of a bat, strange markings covering their skin, and incredibly sharp nails that can slice through anything.
They are carnivores, sometimes resorting to cannibalism if they are desperate. They have only one ruler and her name is Jafilyn. Like bees, Banshees cannot live without a ruler to look after them. That is where the story begins...
