Rant 3 ~ Dumb Idiotic "Popular" People

I'm pretty sure we all know at least one person that fits this description. The jocks at school who can do whatever they want and somehow get away with it? Yeah. Them.

For example, Skylar can pull as many "Yo momma" jokes as he wants, but the second you try to retaliate he acts all hurt and threatens to tell the teacher. 👆 You know which finger they didn't have an emoji for.

Or let's try Saige. Good at volleyball (and every other sport in existence), really really dumb, and fake pretty. Your typical popular girl. (How the hell do these idiots get popular anyways?) She'll say what she wants, when she wants. Also, she must think she's a daughter of Aphrodite or something, because she tries to "charm speak" the teachers. Halfway through the school year though they've learned her tricks, and I think Mr. Halvorsen actually gave her detention once. Or five times.

And then you've got the troublemakers that are all buddy-buddy with the teachers. Take Skylar again. God, I'm so glad he moved back to Arizona. Other people in this category include Tyler, Tyler, Ethan, Emmet... they're all great friends with the teachers (most but not all) and are always the troublemakers. Mrs. Hagan always knew how to punish these guys and still make conversation, which I find not only illogical but impossible. The wonders of Mrs. Hagan.

So, you have the villain established. Now the victims. Take the poor little girls like me, for instance. I know how to bite my tongue and blend into the shadows, so I'm usually okay-ish. But it's the people who try to stand up for themselves who get hit the hardest. They'll defend, but the villain always either has a comeback that doesn't make sense but his entourage will laugh at it, or they'll just say the defender doesn't make sense. Even if you get the villain to stand down, they'll still start random rumors.

There's no stopping this bullying. The bullies will always manage to get "popular", and very rarely get caught by the teachers. That's the way it is.

Vote if you absolutely hate dumb, idiotic, "popular" people.

Dedicated to Sam, Saige, Skylar, Tyler, Tyler, Ethan, Emmet, the list goes on and on... If your name is mentioned above and you're reading this, good. Fuck you.

Next rant coming soon! I have no clue what it'll be about, I'm open to suggestions.
