So, yeah. My Little Pony. Where do I even start.

Look, Friendship is Magic is a pretty cool show. I like it. But the thing is... they fucked up everything.

"What is there to fuck up in the first place?"

Excellent question, Gertrude. You see, the My Little Ponies you see today are not the first ones. They are the fourth generation, also referred to as G4. Before them came G1, 2, and 3. G1 and G2 are practically ancient, they went extinct at the beginning of the 21st century. After them, from about 2006 to 2011 or so, were the G3 ponies.

G2 was the only series before G4 to have their own TV show. G3 had movies that would come with the ponies, and with those toys and movies the My Little Pony culture was established.

Did you know that Rainbow Dash isn't supposed to have wings? And, she has more of a motherly feel than the tomboy most people know. Oh, and Apple Jack is green, not yellow. This is just the beginning of where G4 tore down everything from G3. There's no such thing as alicorns, and breezies look just like tiny ponies with butterfly wings. And, most of all: the G3 ponies actually looked like ponies. The first time I saw a G4 pony, I had to do a double-take to make sure it was actually a pony! Seriously, they look really weird.

"The G3 ponies look even weirder though!"

What's so weird about them? Nothing. Unless you consider actual resemblance to the animal they are based on "weird". The G4 ponies are the weird ones, with all of the curves and disproportionate sizes.

I'm considering writing a MLP fanfiction, but having it be in G3. That means Ponyville, no Equestria or Fillydelphia or Cloudsdale, ponies true to their original personalities, and G3 OC drawings. I just can't wait to get a comment from some idiot fangirl like "wtf is that thing omg do you even know a pony looks like?!?!" And I shall proceed to laugh in her face. BWAHAHA AHAHA although it might be rather hard to laugh in their face via the internet.

Oh yeah, one more thing I wanted to cover: bronies. WTF?! I mean, it's cool and all that they're not afraid to like what they like, but My Little Pony is meant for 4-10 year old girls! I'm not trying to be sexist here, but there are things for girls and there are things for boys. MLP is a thing for girls.

"But what about transgender-"

DO I LOOK LIKE I GIVE A FLYING RAT'S ASS?!

"... no."

Good. Because I don't.

Anyways, to wrap things up: My Little Pony is okay, even though it totally fucked up everything from its predecessor and has a rather strange fan base and looks really weird. There.

Oh, also, I'm writing a story for awesomesauce82's contest! This idea just randomly came to me and I needed characters so I just made them my friends and I's children (since it takes place in the future)!

A city. Three girls. Hundreds of abused cats.
The year is 2043, and the Canadian-American war has ended. It left the once great land of America in ruins. After the Peace Treaty was signed in 2021, the process of rebuilding the Land of the Free began.
Lincoln, Nebraska, suffered little damage and is almost rebuilt. The community is growing back extremely quickly, but as the war left very few supplies, there is not much for luxury. One thing considered a luxury: pets. Many could not afford to feed and care for animals.
In fact, an ordinance was issued banning all Lincoln citizens from hosting animals. Cats now wander the streets, lonely and hungry, abused and homeless.
Katherine Bohmont (my daughter), Danielle Bodfield (maddieb123789's daughter), Jamie Bond (Thegirlnotseen0's daughter), and Marina Biesecker (Yogswimmer77's daughter) are the best of friends. Their mothers were very close growing up, and the girls have been too. They've always felt a soft spot for the poor felines being kicked around the streets of their hometown, and they're determined to do something about it. The question is: will they be able to get away with it?

Basically, they go around feeding cats, building shelters, spreading awareness, and recruiting more people to do the same. I just kind of threw my friends in there without permission, and until I get permission the characters are subject to change.

If you're worried about the dogs of future Lincoln, there's a similar group in the book called Save The Dogs (lol their acronym is STD 😂), but instead of breaking the law they are trying to pass a law of their own. Though not directly associated with our troublemaking Crazy Cat Girls so that they have a better chance of getting the law passed, the groups still support each other. So yeah.
