First off: R.I.P. Jovian, the lemur we all knew and loved. Have fun up there, Zoboo.

So, from 1999-2001, there was this epic TV show called Zoboomafoo. It featured a brilliant lemur named Zoboomafoo, a plethora of animals, and Martin & Chris. Today, they're more commonly know as the Kratt Brothers from the PBIS show Wild Kratts.

You see, I was born mere months after the finale of the show. However, they continued re-airing it for years. It was my favorite TV show of all time, and while a little bit scary for my 2-year-old self, I had thought that Wonder Pets was scary too okay so it couldn't have been that bad xD I learned how to fangirl at a young age. I never missed an episode, and I had in my possession the epitome of all merchandise: the computer game.

Before they made apps or Wii games for all of these TV shows, they had CDs with the games on them that you would put into your computer. Weird, right? I mean, who uses a computer to game? (insert much sarcasm here)

Honestly, I've been destined to become a computer nerd for all of my life. I had all of the cool little CDs for my shows, and I would play them all the time. My dad's cousin works for EA Sports too, and Jonathan always encouraged me to game on. Also, in the first few years of my life my parents were still in college, and I have the vague notion that Dad's fraternity brothers probably played video games with me when they were supposed to be babysitting me xD

Anyways, I played the Zoboomafoo computer game constantly. And I watched the show constantly. And then... I moved on. I almost can't remember anything about the show. I mean, bits and pieces, the major stuff and all, it stuck with me. But not enough of it. I'd be a little embarrassed to go look it up on YouTube and just waste a few hours of my teenage life watching a little kids' show, but I'm kind of tempted to.

So, did anyone else used to watch Zoboomafoo? Feel free to comment your favorite memories of the show, if you have any.

I was really sad when I found out that Jovian died. I never knew that that was Zoboo's real name... a week ago, the amazing lemur passed on from kidney failure. I hadn't given Zoboomafoo a second thought in years, but when I saw that article today so much just came back to me. It was like a tsunami of feels... yeah.

Vote if you exist, pay your respects to Jovian, and have a wonderful day :D
