Chapter 1:Kian's gang

I sighed for the 30th time since I left school. My older brother promised to be there to pick me up when school was done. Yet here I am standing on the sidewalk watching all the other kids get picked up. I bet he's out with his friends again. My older brother, Kian, is always out with his friends cause he sort of runs a gang. At least that's what they call it. I call it a bunch of idiots hanging out. I sigh as I spot kians black Nissan pull up and frown as I see that two of his friends Connor Franta and Trevor Moran are in the car with him. He pulls up and honks the horn much to my annoyance.

I climb in the back seat next to Trevor and before I can even buckle up he pulls away from the school.

"What took you so long?" I ask quickly buckling up for fear of dying. Kian is kind of a crazy driver.

"Sorry me and the boys had a meeting to discuss the new gang on the other side of town." Kian roughly says. I shake my head. Kian was the leader of the Riot Squad. His gang consisted of about 10 guys, at least that I knew of. I've only met Trevor and Connor.

Connor is a tall blonde haired brown eyed guy who seems way too nice to be in a gang at times. He's the type of guy who will walk his grandma across the street, but stab the guy behind him for rushing his grandma. Connor also is the type of guy to bake you cookies when you are feeling down, but put poison in them if he doesn't like you. So basically he's friendly in a deadly way. I've seen him fight before though, he can pack a punch.

Trevor on the other hand is the silent but deadly type. He's really quiet and doesn't say much so I don't really known much about him. He's the type that would sneak up behind you, shoot you and you'd never see it coming. Like i said silent but deadly. He's about my height which is about 5ft 4. He has brown hair and clear blue eyes. I think he's the youngest person in Kians gang. But I'm not sure.

"So Kenzie how was the last day of school?" Connor asks his short blonde hair blowing around from the wind coming in from the window being down. Connor has always been the nicest person to me out of Kain's so called gang.

"The usual." I sigh looking out the window bored.

"Hey Kenzie, I'm supposed to tell you that mom and dad are out of town for the summer." Kian says turning onto our street. Great, what am I supposed to do with that bit of information? I'm not going to throw a party, I hate everyone that I go to school with. Kian will probably throw one though.

"Cool?" I say as Kian pulls into our driveway. I stare up at the two story brick building I call home. Its technically three stories if you count the huge basement.

I get out of the car and head inside and upstairs to my room where I toss my book bag on the floor and lay down on my bed. I am so tired. I decide to take a nap and before anyone can stop me I fall asleep.
