Chapter 9: JC's gang

After walking for a bit and crossing train tracks into JCS territory, we stop. The only reason I know we crossed the tracks is because I accidentally tripped over them and would have fallen if not for my mysterious captor.

I hear him knock on the door in a rapid 3 paced beat.

"Password?" I hear a familiar voice say.

"All men go to hell." My captor says. I hear a creak and then I'm pushed somewhere and into someone.

"The boss sent you to get a girl?" The familiar voice asks. Then it clicks who the voice belongs to.

"Cameron?" I ask. "Is that you?"

"Kenzie?" Cameron replies from somewhere in front of me.

"Where am I?" I ask a bit scared.

"JCS hangout." Cameron replies. "Nash, you kidnapped Kenzie!?"

"He told me to and I just follow orders so I don't die."Nash replies.

"Why am I here?" I ask.

"I'll watch her, you can go." Cameron says. I hear footsteps walking away and the blindfold is taken off me. I blink adjusting myself to the bright world and see I'm standing in a living room.

"Are you okay?" Cameron asks. I nod.

"Why an I here?" I ask again.

"I'm guessing JC wants you." He shrugs.

"Why? He said he was using me..." I say sadly.

"That wasn't entirely the truth." We hear. I turn to see JC standing there wearing black and his bandana tied around his hair.

"Oh really?" I cross my arms pissed off. When my brother finds out he kidnapped me he's going to be in so much shit.

"Yes, I only said that so your brother wouldn't suspect anything." JC says walking closer to me.

"What are you talking about?" I ask backing up noticing Cameron left. Traitor.

"About how I really feel about you." He says.

"Dear lord let me guess you are madly in love with me.." I say laughing. I quickly stop when I notice the look his face. "You are?!"

"Not exactly. I do have a crush on you though." He says.

"You've got to be joking." I scoff.

"Fine, then I am." His attitude changes quickly. I raise my eyebrow at him.

"Damn, don't have to be so cold." I cross my arms.

"That's what happens when someone doesn't let you say what's on their mind." He glares at me like I'm a bug that needs to squashed.

"Go ahead. I'm all ears." I say, hoping he isn't going to tell me he has feelings for me because with what happened with chris and Crawford I'm not ready for someone else.

"It doesn't matter." He says. He turns his head, "Matthew get in here!" My eyes light up as Matt enters the room.

"Yeah?" He says not noticing me.

"Take her home." JC scoffs before walking away.

"Take who-oh!" Matt's eyes go wide as he notices me standing there.

"Hey." I give him a small smile. I'm pretty much ready to cry at this point.

"Let's get you home."
