"Gilinsky stop!" I laugh as he tickles me. It was the end of summer and we have been together for 2 months. Kian didn't like us together at first but he got used to it considering he owed Gilinsky for saving his life.
"I can't help it. The sound of your laugh is amazing." Gilinsky smiles down at me. I blush and look down. He gently lifts my chin and slowly leans down to kiss me, but before he can the sliding door to the kitchen opens.
"You love birds coming?" Jack asks. I smile looking at him. Kian and JC decided to combine their gangs into The Vipers who currently took up the majority of my backyard, where we were throwing an end of summer party.
"Yeah in a second." Gilinsky says giving me a knowing smirk.
"Okay hurry up or Kian will come break it up." Jack smirks before closing the door.
"So....are you sure you're happy with me?" Gilinsky asks worried.
"Yes extremely happy." I smile at him.
"You sure you're okay with me still being your bodyguard?" He smirks.
"Bodyguard? Boyfriend? What's the difference babe?" I wink at him before taking his hand and exiting the house into the backyard where everyone else was. I take a spot on the grass next to Hayes. Gilinsky sits down next to me and I lean against him playing with the black bandana around my wrist. Yes I joined my brothers gang, but only to further my protection and also it was my choice.
"Do you regret it?" Hayes asks pointing to my bandana.
"No." I shake my head. "I'm happy to be apart of the team."
"As long as it keeps you safe." Gilinsky says putting his arm around my shoulders and kisses the side of my head.
I look at him. "Course. I've got my bodyguard/boyfriend." I wink at him. He chuckles and kisses me causing fireworks to go off in my mind. At least I thought they were in my mind. I pull away to see actual fireworks and smile.
Here's to the future.
