"Do you want to come with me to visit dad and the boys tomorrow?" I ask Jackson while I play with his hair as he sits in my lap playing X-box.
"I can't, mums got charlottes appointment at this clinic and she wanted me there," he replies, pausing his game and turning around in my lap to look at me.
"Oh, is that tomorrow?" He nods. I look over at the baby monitor next to me on the coffee table to make sure Skye is ok.
"Actually, the appointment is in the morning, so I can drive up to your dads later if you want?"
"Yeah, I mean, my dad and brothers haven't seen you in a while so it'll be good for them to see you again," I say. "Will you be okay to drive though, you know, with your leg?"
"Yeah, I'm well and truly healed,"
I reply with an alright and he turns around to continue playing whatever game he is playing.
I decide to ring dad to let him know that I'll be visiting him tomorrow.
The phone rings three times before he picks up.
"Hello Ella, how are you?" He greets.
"I'm good, dad, how are you?"
"Not too bad, just about leave for Oliver's football training," he explains.
"Okay, well I won't hold you up. But I just wanted to know if you were going to be home tomorrow so I can come and visit?"
"No one is home during the day on Saturdays, why don't you come for dinner instead?" He suggests.
I totally forgot I was the only one currently stuck at home.
"Yeah, we'll do that."
We say our goodbyes and I put my phone down. Jackson's still sitting in my lap, moving every so often because of his frustrations towards whatever game it is that he is playing.
"We'll go to dads for dinner tomorrow, okay?" He hums yes in response.

Loud noises coming from the kitchen waking me up the next morning. I sit up and open my eyes properly. I look around, noticing my surroundings, Jackson and Skye are nowhere to be seen in my room.
I get out of bed and walk into my bathroom to brush my teeth. Once I'm down I make my way downstairs towards the kitchen.
In the kitchen, I notice that 1 Jackson is shirtless and 2, he is cooking.
"Mmm smells good in here," I coo, walking over to Jackson at the counter as he cuts strawberries with so much attention that when I snake my arms around his torso he flinches.
"I didn't even see you walk in blossom," he says putting the knife down and turning around so I'm hugging him with my head on his chest. "How was your sleep?" He asks kissing the top of my head causing butterflies to explode in my stomach and heat rushing to my cheeks.
"I slept like a baby, how about you?" Leaning back to look at him.
"I can never have a bad sleep when I'm sleeping next to you," he winks.
I raise my eyebrows and tilt my head, "Is that so?"
"Yeah, although, you were talking to me last night," my head moves so fast to look at him. When I see his face, he looks serious, so clearly he's being serious.
With my eyes wide open I ask, "What did I say?" I move my hands from his back to the side of his stomach.
"Not much," he chuckles. "Only that Jeremy is a jackass and he needs to leave you alone,"
