It's been the two weeks now and my cast is off and I'm no longer on medication. After the conversation Jackson and I had, we've become quite close. After the five weeks that I've known Jackson, I feel like we've both changed from the people we were when we first met and it's amazing how fast both of us bonded with each other.
"JEREMY!" I scream as I sprint up to my twin and jump onto him. Jeremy takes a hold of me and buries his head in the crook of my neck.
Todays Saturday and I have decided to visit my family and surprise Miki and Emily.
"I've missed you, so much," He gasps as I wrap my legs around his waist.
"Me too! Those nightly calls aren't enough." I say as he puts me down. I notice that Jeremy visibly stiffens. I turn to look at what has made Jeremy like that. Before I could take a look, Jeremy speaks with defensiveness in his voice.
"Who's this, Ella?"
"Uh...Jeremy this is Jackson, my friend from school. Jackson this is my twin brother Jeremy." I introduce them to each other.
"Hey, it's nice to meet you, I've heard so many good things about you," Jackson greets with his arm outstretched to shake Jeremy's hand.
I've only ever bought one boy home but that was the only relationship I've ever been in. The reason we broke up has made me be more insecure than anything.
I now know why Jeremy is being a total douche bag because he knows every inch of my past relationship and I guess it's his way of protecting me.
Surprise Surprise, Jeremy actually took Jackson's hand and has a huge smile on his face, like he has just won the eight million dollar lottery.
"It's a pleasure," Jeremy replies while shaking Jackson's hand.
"Where's dad and the others?" I ask bouncing up and down on my toes.
"They are in the pool. Wanna come?"
"Yes! I'm going to get changed in my bikini." I say as I turn away from Jeremy who is walking towards the back door, to Jackson. "Did you bring shorts for the pool by any chance?" I ask. Jackson's heartwarming smile erupts onto his face.
"Of course its an essential for a guys bag." He says in a duh tone. I roll my eyes in response, "Can I have your car keys, I need to get the bags out?"
I reach for my keys in my pocket and hand them to Jackson. As he jogs off towards the car I go into my old bathroom that's connected to my old bedroom. I tie up my hair in a messy bun and take off my jewelry.
"Ella, where are you?" Jackson calls out from downstairs.
"Up here!" I yell back.
I hear Jackson's loud footsteps as he climbs up the stairs. I walk out of the bathroom and walk towards the bedroom door so Jackson knows where I am.
"What do you have in this bag? Bricks?" Jackson complains as he walks through the door and drops the bags on my old king-sized bed.
"No dumbass, it has girl necessities." I roll my eyes, opening my bag.
"Excuses Excuses," Jackson says as he goes through his bag to find his shorts.
I pull out my bikini and run to the bathroom to get changed.
"Stay in here and get changed or go to the main bathroom," I instruct.
"All good," I give Jackson a small smile and lock the door behind me.
I finish getting changed in my bikini and walk out of the bathroom. I walk out with my head down, watching myself fold the clothes I was previously wearing. I walk towards the bed where my bag is.
