Shock would be an understatement for how I am feeling at this very moment. Not just because I said yes to being Jackson's girlfriend but because I said I love him. I don't regret one bit of it. I just want to turn back time and do it again.
Right now, I'm lying on Jackson's hospital bed, with my arm draped over his chest. Jackson has his arm around my shoulder while kissing my head every so often, I smile every time.
"When are you coming home?" I ask, looking up at Jackson.
"I don't know, I never got to talk to the doctor." He replies.
"Alright, well I'll go get one because I want to get out of here, I've been living in here for too long," I say getting up from the bed. Just as I'm about to hop off Jackson pulls me back. He gives me a peck on the lips.
"You're a cutie," I blush at his words and leave to get a doctor.
It's been a few hours since Jackson and I's family left the hospital and right now I just want to go home and have a nice hot shower and cuddle Jackson. Just thinking about cuddling Jackson puts a sneaky smile on my face.
Walking up to the front desk, I stand at the desk and wait for the secretary to give me attention.
"How may I help you?" She asks.
"Would I be able to get a doctor to room 368?" I say.
"Is it an emergency?" She asks with a bit of attitude.
"No, my boyfriend actually woke up from a coma a few hours ago, and we were just wondering if we could get a doctor so he could come home," I explain.
"Yeah well, you just have to learn how to be patient." She spits.
"Excuse me? You should learn how to have a bit of respect." I spit back.
"Please Hun, I don't need respect." She says rolling her eyes.
I scoff at her response. "Clearly, when you're a secretary for a hospital. Can you just send a doctor to the room 368?"
She huffs and puffs, but gives in any way. "Whatever, just wait ten minutes."
"Wasn't so hard, was it?" I say walking back to the room
When I get to Jackson's room, Jackson is on the same side of the bed and is smoothing out the area where I was previously lying down.
"Miss me?" I ask with a smirk.
"Very much." He replies pulling me to his side as I jump onto his bed again. I sigh as I rest my head on his chest.
"What's wrong?" Jackson asks, probably due to the way I sighed.
"Oh, it was nothing, just a bitchy secretary," I shrug.
"I know you can handle yourself," he says.
"Yeah, I know I can," I pause for a bit. "Are you sure you want me to be your girlfriend after what I put you through?" I ask worriedly.
"Blossom, the accident wasn't your fault, none of it was," he reassures me.
"Well, you tell me if you suddenly realise that it is my fault because I can go," I say pointing to the door of Jackson's hospital room.
"Ella, stop blaming yourself. The only person to blame is the drunk driver that will be getting charged no matter what."
"Okay, okay." I left my head to stare into his blue eyes. "Thank you." Jackson leans in to kiss me but instead, we get interrupted when someone knocks on the door. "Fuck sake," Jackson grunts.
