Interesting documentaries were on tv that evening. It was all about polar bears and other bear. Suddenly, something pops and water gushes from out of me.
"Cato!", I yell and he comes minutes later asking me what, "The baby is coming".
He quickly drives me to the private hospital a few minutes away. Contractions have started and they hurt like hell! At the moment, they are every few minutes. I try to not make a massive fuss and keep as quite as possible but, it's hard.
"Don't be afraid to make noise!", he jokes. Usually, I would laugh but today I just grit my teeth instead. My mind wanders to how amazing it will be to be a mother although, it is unusual for a baby to be 6 or 7 weeks early.
"Push!", orders the doctor. Despite the pain, I clench my teeth together, squeeze Cato's hand and push as hard as I can. 10 minutes later, the doctor tells me to do one last push then she holds up a baby and shouts, "It's a girl!". Tears of happiness run down my cheeks as I smile and release Cato's hand. This is the happiest moment of my life. Once the baby is all cleaned, she is placed in my arms.
"She is so tiny", I whisper.
"Still beautiful. Just like her mummy", Cato adds before giving me a gentle kiss. The doctor called Dr. Flawed returns and inform us how much she weighs, "3lb 10oz. She is underweight, nothing lots of love and food can't fix. She seems very healthy and shows no signs of illnesses. Have you thought of any names?", she then asks. I look at Cato who shrugs and looks into our babies eyes.
"Brianna", we say at the same time then laugh.
"Brianna Kayla Hadley", I say.
"There you go! Welcome to the big world Brianna", says Dr. Flawed.
A few days later, we bring home Brianna long with several toys, blankets and clothing, all from family and friends. I can't explain how proud I am to be the mother of such a beautiful girl. Her hair is the darkest shade of brown, contrasting with her light blue eyes and her soft pale skin. Freckles are dotted around her nose and cheeks. As we enter, everything is silent, even Poppy cannot be heard! Strange, I thought Kayla was round looking after Poppy. We go to the kitchen to lay all the bags down. As we do, I faintly hear someone whisper, "3,2,1!". Then Cato and my family jumping out, yelling, "Surprise!", with the occasional 'Congratulations'.
The next few hours are filled with tea, cakes and baby holding. It turns out, Jay, Cato's brother, is good with babies and not a cocky dick head. Primrose and Ryan are in love with Poppy and are very happy to just sit and stroke her. Kayla is a very proud to have Brianna's middle name named after her. Isabelle and my mother were crying earlier in happiness, so was Cato's mum. Both our fathers are the best of friends!

The reaping is today...I know I'm not ever going back to that arena but I can't help but worry for others. Brianna has no idea what is happening and she never will. Despite all the worries and fears, I finally manage to drag myself from my bed and over to the mirror. Gross! This pregnancy has made me a watermelon! I have been spending endless hours at the gym trying to work it off;I'm nearly there. Then I choose out my outfit: a tight fitting dress with matching heels which I adore, I must add.
Downstairs, Cato is feeding Brianna her bottle;I see they are both in there outfits, looking wonderful. This Quarter quell is strange, the victory is during the games.
"Brianna looks adorable!", I exclaim. A smile appears on his face and he places Brianna in her playpen before coming over to me.
"Just like you then", he says then gives me a passionate kiss whilst a I grab his hair in my hands and kiss back harder. I have to come up for hair.
