Clove
Underneath the moon, underneath the stars
Here's a little heart for you
Up above the world, up above it all
Here's a hand to hold on to
But if I should break, if I should fall away
What am I to do?
I need someone to take a little of the weight
Or I'll fall through
You're just the one that I've been waiting for
I'll give you all that I have to give and more
But don't let me fall
Take a little time, walk a little line
Get the balance right
Give a little love, gimme just enough
So that I can hang on tight
We will be alright, I'll be by your side
I won't let you down
But I gotta know no matter how things go
That you will be around
You're just the one that I've been waiting for
I'll give you all that I have to give and more
But don't let me fall, don't let me fall
Underneath the moon, underneath the stars
Here's a little heart for you
Up above the world, up above it all
Here's a hand to hold on to
You're just the one that I've been waiting for
I'll give you all that I have to give and more
But don't let me fall
You'll be the one that I'll love forever more
I'll be here holding you high above it all
But don't let me fall

"I never knew you had an amazing singing talent!", exclaims Jules, the music teacher.
"T-thank you", I blush.
"That's all for today class. See you next time!". I squeeze myself out of the crowd of teenagers and in the dark hallway.
"Shit", I mumble as I crash my body into someone else's, knocking them on the floor. Everybody looks at me; I can't identify any names because they all don't like me. Today I did try to make friends but they all rejected me or laughed at me or called me a slut.
"Just who I was looking for", says a voice. I look down to see that I'm sitting on Cato, "Hey Clove". He hands me a rose with a note attach:
Our love is different x
I help him up and say, "What?".
"Our love is not like anybody else's. Our love is lethal, our love is dangerous", he explains, "And I wouldn't change it for a minute".
I warp my arms and his neck and just breathe in his scent, "I love you", I whisper.
"Forever?", he says.
"And always", we say together before our lips meet.
"Slut!", someone coughs. We turn to see a tall blonde girl and her gang whispering and giggling.
"What did you just say?", Cato hisses as he corners them. All blondies friends whimper and shake there heads, apart from herself, "She is a slut. Can't you figure it out?", she questions. Fear rises in Cato's eyes as he takes a step closer to them.
"Cato-", I say desperately grabbing onto his shoulder,"Lets just go...". Ignoring me, he pins blondie up against the wall and spits, "Once more and your a goner". Cato slaps her face with a great force that will probably leave a nasty bruise. Good. Her and her friends strut off into the distance, all of them crowding round blondie like she is the queen, which she probably is...in her own world.
"Why did you do that?", I hiss to Cato.
"Nobody calls you a slut. Nobody. I don't care if it's just one word, she still said and I don't want you getting upset", he says stroking my cheek.
I calmly remove his hand and put it on my waist, "You don't need to do that", I whisper into his ear.
"B-but I love you".
Tons of excitement build up inside of me as I lean in to kiss him. Fireworks once again go off in my mouth like the first time we kissed on that spring morning.
"Cato!Clove!", someone yells behind us. Totally ignoring them, we kiss again for a longer period before breaking apart.
Xander runs in, in a crying mess, his knees give way just as he reaches us,"They got her!", he sobs into his hands, "I couldn't save her!".
"W-who?", I demand. My breaths get shorter and my heart pounds louder with every waiting second. Cato grips on tightly to me for support, which I really need right now.
"K-Kayla", he cries loudly, "The men, I tried fighting them, I really did. One cut my arm and punched m-me, I'm so sorry!".
Kayla? My...sister. All the rage I have ever felt inside of me bubbles to the top, needing to be released somehow. I don't cry, my tears are frozen inside my body. People are whispering around me but I can't take any of this.
"We will find her", is all I keep hearing, "We will".
A feeling of sickness and dizziness takes over my entire body. I try to call out but something is stopping me. Some sort of burning sensation starts down in my toes and is slowly making it's way up my body. By the time it's in my neck, my vision goes blurry and a black spot grows increasingly bigger at an amazing speed. Before I know it, I'm gone.
