Clove

"Ugh, Carla my feet kill, can we go home now?", I complain as I have been shopping for the past 6 hours, which was amazing! All the clothes here are so colourful and cute, I couldn't help buy by some boots and jumpers...lots of them.

"Not yet!", she says, paying for another round of clothes to add to the 6 bags she is already carrying, "Let's just chat for a bit, yeah?". I nod and follow her out of the shop onto a bench.

"I need to make dinner for the children though", I moan, "Thank you for today though".

"Okay, okay we can go", she says looking slightly worried.

As we approach the house, Carla keeps glances over her shoulder until she sees Cato and Xander in the distance.

"Okay, bye", she says and hugs me before running off to chat with Xander. I fumble for my keys but then I realise that Cato has them.

"Do you have keys?", I ask but making no eye contact.

"Yeah, I do", he says quietly opening the door. Rose petals lay all over the floor, leading to a note.

"What have they done?", I mumble following the trail of petals.

Dear Clove and Cato, we don't like seeing you upset. Please follow the clues and all will be okay,

All of us x

"What are they up to?", ask Cato, reading the letter out loud.

"I guess we better find out", I say going into the kitchen to read:

Your gift is near, follow the arrows and all will be revealed...

We walk outside to find a mahogany table covered with a red flowery table cover and two matching chairs with cushion seats the same colour.

"Another note", I say picking it up.

Dear Cato and Clove,

We love seeing both of you happy and cheerful, thank you very much for the lovely holiday, now it's time for you to relax!

Love from,

Kayla, Xander and Brianna x (With the help from Carla, Finnick and Annie)

P.s we are with Carla overnight

I hand it to Cato before sitting down. He doesn't say anything, just stares at me as I feel my face flush red to match the table. Silence takes over everything here, I cough a few times only resulting in it being more awkward. Cato sighs loudly and blinks once...twice then stands up.

"I'm sorry", he says looking down.

"What?", I say looking up to him.

"I'm sorry", he repeats now looking at me.

"But-".

"I just can't stand the thought of you with another male, the moment I saw you, you were my definition of perfect. Seeing you go off with all your friends made me think if I am a good enough father, a boyfriend. Did you want me to leave?", he interrupts.

"No, no. For the first time in years I felt like a normal teenager, I had friends", I say quietly, "I'm not very likeable".

"You are loveable and the moment I kissed you, I knew I was in love and I fall in love over and over and over and over and over again each time I see you, rain or sun, happy or sad and seeing with another male...makes me jealous and I'm not embarrassed to say that. I get jealous when you hug someone else, and I'm sorry for the way I acted, I just love you too much".
