Chapter 28

Destiny:

I woke up with a bad ass Headache and to see that Micheal wasn't in bed.
I grabbed my phone off the charger and seen that I had a message from Micheal.

Pookie Bear🐻❤️😚😚: I know you probably confused as hell right now 😂but you got drunk asf last night so that's why you have a bad ass headache, I put some medicine on the night stand for you and I got you some breakfast from McDonald's, sorry I had to leave but me and Anthony had to go run a couple of errands so I should be back soon, I love you and I will call you when I can❤️.

I smiled and grabbed the medicine popping it opened and putting a pill in mouth and then grabbing the McDonald's cup to wash it down. I grabbed the McDonald bag pulling out the 2 breakfast burritos and started eating them.

After a few minutes of eating and watching the Amazing World of Gumball I walked to the kitchen to take out something to cook for dinner today
but I stopped when I noticed some beautiful white roses on the kitchen counter I walked over to them picking them up and a card fell out on the floor, I picked it up reading it.

I looked at it and smiled.

I walked to the refrigerator opening it and pull out some chicken and putting it in the sink.

Suddenly I heard a knock on the door, i walked to the door looking out the peak hole "wtf" I said with a confused look and opened the door.

"What are you doing here" I said
"I haven't heard from you in a while and I just wanted to see if you where okay" he said rubbing his hand on the back of his neck.
"I'm fine Alan but you can't just pop up over here like that I'm in a relationship and m-"

I was cut off by Micheal walking up he looked at me and then looked a Alan.

"Wassup" Micheal said looking at him with a mad look on his face.

Alan just looked at him and walked away.
Micheal looked at me with a confused look on his face. I looked at him and looked down walking inside the apartment, he followed behind me.

I stood with both hands on the counter and he sat down on the stole on the other side.

"Who tf was that Destiny" He said
I looked up at him "Alan he's just a friend, he just came by to check on me" I said
He looked at me and laughed "Okay Destiny" he said getting up and walking towards the bedroom.
I followed behind him " you don't believe me" I said
"I didn't say I didn't" he said taking off his shoes.
"The way you said it made it seem like you didn't" I said folding my arms.
He grabbed my arms pulling me towards him lightly I flinched a little bit thinking about Chris when he used to put his hands on me, he noticed that I had a scared look on my face so he let me go.
"I'm sorry mama I will never hurt you but I believe you Des" he said standing up and holding me.
I put my head on his chest and
"I promise that I will never put my hands on you" he said giving me a kiss on my forehead " I love you" he said
I looked up at him "I love you to" I said
As he whipped the tears from my eyes giving me a kiss on my lips.

Me and Micheal was cuddle up on the couch watching Honey: Rise Up and Dance.

"Damn" Micheal said. Looking at the tv it was on the part when she was twerking
I looked at him like he was crazy.
"Ima just playing mama" he said laughing
"You sholl do be playing a lot" I said rolling my eyes.
Soon Micheal's phone started ringing.
"Oh it's Deven" he said answering it and putting it on speaker.

"Wassup bro" he said
"We found that nigga Chris" Deven said
"Word bro, where he at" he said
"We got him here now, and we found the two niggas that came to y'all house they told us where that nigga was at" Deven said
I sat up looking at Micheal.
"So do you want us to get this over with" Deven said.
"No wait, I wanna talk to him" I said
Micheal looked at me "do you think that's a good ideal" he said looking at me confused.
"I just need closure, I just need to know why" I said.
Micheal looked at me breathing out heavy.
"So what's the move" Deven said
"Keep him in there to we get there and I'll let you know from there" Micheal said hanging up the phone.
"Are you mad at me" I said looking down.
"Why would I be mad at you mama"he said picking up my chin.
I shrugged my shoulders.
"Come one lets go get our bags packed so when can leave out in the morning" he said standing up holding his hand out for me to grab.

The next day

Me and Micheal finally touched down in Texas getting off the private plane.

I really didn't like being down here anymore this place just brings back a lot of bad and sad memories.

Deven pulled up in his car getting out and dapping Micheal up and giving me a hug.

"You good sis?" he said
"Yeah I'm okay" I said

Kevin pulled up in one of Micheal's car get out.

"Wassuo Big M" he said dapping him up
"Hey Destiny" he said giving me a hug

We walked up to the car putting our bags in the back and getting the the car, Devin and Kevin pull out and we followed behind them.

When we finally got tot the trap I got out taking a deep breath and walking towards the building we went in side walking down the hallway towards the door that Chris was in, we stopped once we got there.

"We got the whole room surrounded and we have a hiding Microphone in there so we can hear everything that's going on and we are going to be looking right out that window" Deven said pointing in the other room next door.

Micheal walked up to me " It's okay mama we won't let him hurt you anymore" he said giving me a kiss

I smiled at him, I was hella nervous
I slowly opened the door walking in to see Chris head down with blood on his face he slowly lifted his head up and looked at me.

I shuck my head as tears came out my eyes.

"Why" I said as more tears started rolling down my cheeks
"Why what" he said

"Why did you put me through all this Chris, I loved you so damn much, and you treated me like I was shit, I was a good wife to you, I stood by your side no matter what even if you were in the wrong, you don't know how many nights I prayed asking God to fix our marriage I was still trying to giving it my all trying fix it, but i had to realize I can't be the only one putting in all the work.
but it's okay"I said smiling and still crying, "I'm better now me and my family are back connected and I found someone who really cares about me and loves me and I won't let what you did to me mess up my current relationship. I came here bc I thought I needed closure and I needed a explanation of why you did me what you did, but I don't now bc I realize that the only reason you treated me the way you did is bc I allowed you to and I forgive you" I said whipping my tears away.
"We tired to let you go free and give you a chance before but you kept trying to hurt me and my family, and I can't keep waking up everyday knowing that your out here still trying to hurt us I just can't" I looked over at Kevin and nodded my head I turned around walking towards the door and I heard the gun shot go off I closed my eyes trying to keep the tears in.

I felt arms wrap around me I looked up seeing it was Micheal.
"It's finally over" I said
