CHAPTER 31

Jacky's POV

Saying I was shocked is an understatement. I was shocked, furious, sad, angry any word you may think of. I couldn't believe that I could get from one misfortune to another. I actually thought that I was bewitched. Who could have thought that my own sister, blood sister could do something like this? Something's are just unbelievable. I walked silently towards James and mum's table and sat down. I looked at them, and broke down. I had tried being as strong as I could but I just couldn't hold on any longer. Seeing mum devastated and James crying like a baby just killed me in the inside.
James tried holding me but I shrugged his hands off. I didn't know what to think or feel anymore. I felt like mum had done this to me, betrayed me. How could she just open her hands to a total stranger? She was her daughter yes, but she didn't know what lifestyle Jannie had. James on the other hand, he betrayed me. He actually cheated on me with my sister and went ahead to actually sleep with her? This was too much for me.
Beka came and sat down next to me, pulling me into her hands. I cried a river and totally soaked her cute blouse with my tears. "Release it all because after this we have to talk and know of the way forward," she said as she soothed me. After a while I felt that was enough. I needed to just go home and lie down but they all disagreed. "We need to talk. Mum said.
"Before anything I need to apologize. I am sincerely sorry to you Jacky and James because if I hadn't welcomed Jannie this wouldn't have happened in the first place. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me." She said as she wiped a lone tear.
"Mum its okey. What is done is done. We now need to know the way forward. We actually don't know why she would want to ruin my life, our lives. She was sweet but changed over time. I can't believe people can be this stupid!" I said as I stroked mums cheek.
"I think its best if you find yourself somewhere else to live for the time being. I know it isn't easy but you need to. After everything that has happened, you don't have an option but to do as I say." James said.
"And I think the only and best place is James's mansion. And I will let that happen only if James promises to only provide you with everything but never spend a night there. We don't know whether he's positive or not." Beka said and mum and I chucked. Knowing Beka would just do anything for me.
James said it was okey. He could always host me. Anyway the mansion was mine. He had changed its ownership to me. I was okey with the arrangement.
Three months later....
We were having our dinner, me Beka and a guy friend of hers. We were talking about everything and anything and I had called James to let him know where I was and would probably get home late. I had not come in my car, the car James had bought for me so I requested him to pick me up at around 11.00pm. He said it was OK. When were having desert the waiter came and said I had a call at one of the counters. I wondered who it was and who knew I was there. I decided its just a call so why not just go pick it up. I stood and went to the counter but who I found there made my heart skip a beat!
