But I Still Want You/Taehyung

Sometimes you love someone so much, even if they hurt you, you won't let them go.

As I walk inside my house, I hear noises coming from my bedroom. It's nothing new to me, Taehyung and another girl having sex. Tae and I have been a couple for about 3 years, but last year it all changed. One day, I went to throw out the trash but on the way, I saw Tae and another girl making out in his car. It broke me, I felt so insecure after then. Was I good enough? I felt pathetic, I'd just let him continue with this, why haven't I left him? Well, the truth is I love him, to the point I won't let him go. It's like drinking poison you know that's gonna kill you, but it tastes so good. I sit on the couch and start to cry, like every night. They finally stop and I just sit there.

"Bye Tae, thanks for tonight."

"Of course, call me again."

"Umm, who is that over there?"

"She's just the maid, don't worry about her."

When I heard that, I froze. Was I that worthless in his life? He shuts the door, "When will you leave? There's no point in staying here."

"Have you ever thought about me again? Do you ever miss the old times we had? You never listen to me, I STILL LOVE YOU! I'm an idiot to love a fool like you, but I do. My heart still skips a beat when I see you. I just want to go back to those days where we'd hold hands walking in the park or go on dates. I guess you've never missed that because I'm nothing to you, just a shadow living in this house, that used to be ours. I STILL WANT YOU TAE," I start bawling my eyes out.

I look at him straight in the eyes, tears start forming in his. But then he looks away. "I... I don't love you anymore."

My heart ripped to shreds. "TAE PLEASE JUST LOOK ME IN THE EYES AND SAY YOU DON'T LOVE ME."

"I don't.. lo.. love you. Now just get out."

He was the water, I was the flame, but he decided to not put me out. He let me burn till there was no more of me, just a pile of black and bitter ashes. I ran to hug him one last time, "But I still want you." I then felt a tear fall from his face onto my hair.
