Trigger Warning⚠️⚠️⚠️: If you love dogs or animals in general, please skip this chapter. I teared up while writing it so please skip it. I'm not an evil person, I love animals a whole lot and the death of one sucks. So please skip over this chapter, and I don't mean to offend anyone!

Jimin POV
"I have died everyday, waiting for you"

I grabbed my work bag and keys ready to leave my house.

However a small yelp stopped me in my tracks. I turned to see my dog Taehyung looking at me with hopeful eyes.

I smiled, "Maybe but I'm not sure bud."

He gave me a defeated sigh and looked sadly at me.

"I'm sorry Taetae. How about I give you extra treats?" I bribed.

He looked up, seeming to accept the bargain. I smiled quickly grabbing the dog food from the pantry.

"Extra Crunchies coming right up," I said, pouring a mass amount of food into his bowl.

He quickly attacked the food, chomping at the crunchy pieces.

I smiled as his tail wagged happily. I lived alone and had no significant other. But I didn't mind, seeing as I had Taehyung.

Taehyung was a rescue. I randomly had gone to a pet store needing a little company. And that's when I found Taehyung. He sat alone in an isolated cage, away from all the other dogs. I immediately gravitated to him. The owner warned me that he was a bit unstable because his previous owner mistreated him. He had scars and was wrapped up in pounds of bandages. But I wasn't discouraged. I went to him, and sat in front of his cage. He shied away, squirming as far away as he could from me. I sat there with a treat in my hand for four hours. And then finally he inched towards me, and cautiously took the treat for me. I immediately turned to the owner and demanded that I had him. He questioned why I would ever take him, and I answered plainly with, "You can't judge a specimen on how they've been brought up. And if you wish to teach it your way, you teach it. And you don't isolate it."

The attendant promptly shut up and silently opened the cage. Taehyung was hesitant, but I waited patiently for him to be comfortable enough to come to me.

Slowly but surely he got out of the cage and into my arms. I spent the next couple hours at that store buying supplies for Taehyung. Then I took him home, to a better place.

Like I said, we needed each other. I nursed Taehyung back to life, and he, well he keeps me company. Taehyung has actually prolonged my life way past it's due date. The doctors call it a miracle. But I'm slowly dying. I can feel it. So I'd like to spend my last couple days with Taehyung.

Just as I was about to leave I felt like something inside of my body died, halting me from leaving.

And that's when I knew...

That I had to take Taehyung with me. Because it'll be the last time I ever see him.

"Taetae," I called, causing the pup to look at me. "Come here."
