"Dreams were made to give you a few hours of relief."

We were sitting on top of a hill. His fingers interlaced with mine as I rested my head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of my forehead, rubbing circles on my back.

"Have I ever told you that coming up here with you is the best breath of fresh air I could ever breathe?" Jungkook said wistfully.

"Almost every time," I teased. I snuggled closer to him, breathing in his signature scent. "But I love it."

He smiled pecking my lips sweetly.

"Well would you look at that. It's time for the art show," he said, looking admiringly at the sunset and the colors painting the sky.

I watched him watch the sunset.

"Are you getting jealous of a sunset? You know that you're the only thing my eyes will ever belong to," he said.

"I know. I was admiring you admiring the sunset. It's very mesmerizing," I said.

"Ah. Well in that case, continue to stare at this beauty," he teased.

He looked back at the sunset and I looked back at him. His perfect face and jawline, his kind smile and welcoming embrace.

"Y/N?"

"Y/N?!"

"Y/N! Wake up it's time for school!"

I opened my eyes to a bright light shining on my face.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"Another one of those dreams?" Our housekeeper asked.

"What are you talking about?" I asked trying to sound oblivious.

"Sweetheart, whenever you have this certain dream you wake up very upset because the dream ended. And you've had this dream for the past three months," she said, causing me to blush at my fantasy.

Yeah, I did have a consistent dream. Jungkook, my best friend since forever was also my crush. I could never bring myself to tell him, one because I was too shy and two because though he was my best friend, he was popular. And ALL the girls loved him.

I groaned as our housekeeper pulled the covers off of me. Another day of my horrible reality.

"Oh sweetheart, your parents won't be home for another two months," my housekeeper said.

"Of course they won't. They just shouldn't come back," I muttered.

My parents were always working and traveling internationally. This however was their longest trip. They'd been gone for seven months now, and were now prolonging it two months longer. Best part was they were going to miss the winter holiday festival that we went to every year since I was born.

"Sweetheart you know how..."

"Important their work is? Yeah I know. I just thought their daughter would be more important," I said sarcastically.
