Waking up in the morning and getting ready for school was a routine. My alarm rings at 6 am, I drink a glass of water which I always have placed at my bedside table, then finally get up and comb my hair to untangle the strands before hopping into the shower.
After taking a shower, I head out to my closet and grab the first thing I see and for today it's A Harry Potter gray shirt and faded blue knee rip jeans. I comb my hair again and after just leave it to air dry instead of using heat.
I head down the kitchen and automatically smile as I saw Dad dancing with Mikaela, my younger sibling. Mikaela was giggling in her pink ballet skirt.
"Morning!" I greeted them.
"Good Morning Baby!" Dad said giving my sister a spin.
"I'm the baby here." Mikaela stomping her foot. Dad and I both laugh.
"Yes, yes you are." Dad scooping Mikaela into his arms. "But Abby is my baby too, you both are my babies."
"I'm fine not being called baby, dad." I told him as I open the fridge for a glass of orange juice.
"If she doesn't want to, I'll be the Baby." Mikaela happily claps her hands.
"It's all yours baby sister." I slightly pinch her cheek and she cracks into giggles.
There was a knock on the door and in no time Nina walks into the kitchen. She was wearing a denim skirt, brown sweater, and brown ankle boots. She always looked like a fashion model just as what most of the boys in school always say. Me? I look like a potato but she hates it when I compare myself to her or anybody else. She usually wacks my head and tell me that others are just full of shit and insecurities.
"Morning Pips!" She greeted with a smile.
"Hi, Nina!" Dad did the same and Mikaela waved. "Oh, breakfast." Dad putting Mikaela down to a seat and placing two plates in the table and then the third one for Mikaela "Eat! I made Eggs and Bacon."
"Thought you'll never ask." Nina sitting down and grabbing some bacon by hand, that's what I like about her, she never lets labels mess with her personality. Even if she looked like a goddess, she was never one who acted fake in front of others.

Nina's phone kept ringing in her pocket, she wasn't minding it and kept telling the story about the party I missed last Saturday night, I wanted to go but I had the night shift last Saturday.
"You really missed an awesome party." She happily smiles and reminisce.
"That adjective is so overused. You describe every party with it." I chuckled.
"Because it perfectly describes it, Smarty Panties." She sticks her tongue out at me.
"But are you gonna get that?" I ask pointing on her jean pocket.
"Arg!" She sighed loudly in frustration. "This isn't part of that word." She took her phone and show it to me. The caller ID Dragon Breath was calling. "He keeps calling and calling."
"Why not just block him off and what's with the name?" I ask.
"He'll just realize that I don't like him and stop calling. He breathes out to your face every time he talks." She pushes the end call button and shoves her phone back to her pocket.
"It's Sebastian!" One of the girls said as we pass by a group of Sophomores.
"What's so interesting about that Jackass?" Nina rolls her eyes at her question. I glance behind and saw Sebastian with his friends enter the hallway.
