Chapter 11: Outfits and Video Games

I was walking to class when I saw Mr. Allen walking in the hallway. I quickly brush my hair with my finger to fix my hair neatly as I could. He is sipping on his coffee.

"Good Morning Abby!" He greeted with a smile.

"Good Morning Mr. Allen!" I happily giggled and he continues walking to his first class. That's when I just realize that I giggled, that was not cute. I facepalm myself in embarrassment.

"That was adorable!" Sebastian came out of nowhere, mocking me.

"Shut up!" I hit him in his arms.

"It was a compliment. You don't have to be violent." He tries to hide his laughter.

"It wasn't adorable, and I looked stupid." I roll my eyes and left him there.

Walking to my class, someone tapped my shoulder. "Sebastian, leave me alone." I turned to see Nate instead. "Oh, though you're Sebastian."

"Well, you thought wrong." He only smiled. Nate and I have been getting along, Nina always remind me to sweet-talk Nate on asking her out. "Having a bad day already?"

"You haven't been here long to realize that even a glimpse of Sebastian can annoy you." I said with bitterness.

"I see that." He chuckles.

"So, change subject. Have you seen Nina?" I ask him.

"I haven't" he shrugs his shoulder.

"Oh, she might be still in cheer practice." I smirk as he's expression seemed to be impressed. I'm such a good best friend.

"She is, she might be talented." He nods.

"She really is. She even has a great singing voice. She's like that queen of karaoke." I was imaginarily patting my shoulder.

"She must be really great to have that title."

"If you want you can come with us to karaoke this Saturday." I said snapping my fingers.

"That would be cool." He agrees.

"How about I just text you the details then."

"Okay." He nodded.

At the cafeteria, I was running late for I must drop by the ladies' room. I immediately sat down beside Nina and excitedly smiles.

"You'll love me more because of this." I said taking her yogurt.

"Why would I?" She raises her brow, but before I could even utter a word. I was pushed that I was squeezed towards Nina that we had to move to make room and then Sebastian sits down. "What the hell?!" Nina reaching for her brother's head to smack, but Sebastian quickly dodges his sister's hand.

"Not today sissy!" He wags a finger to his annoyed sister. "What are you talking about?" He asks, but I totally ignored him.

"So, I told Nate that you are a good singer and that we are going to karaoke this Saturday. He seemed impressed." I told her excitedly.

"What?!" She exclaimed. "Really?" I nodded. "I should prepare, I need to make plans that could successfully lead to him asking me out." Nina begins to panic. She took out her notebook and began writing things, she does that when she becomes nervous and Nina doesn't just easily become nervous.

"What's with her?" Sebastian looking at her sister weirdly.

"Nothing that concerns you." I only roll my eyes at him and continued eating the yogurt.

"Thought we were getting on somewhere." He said as he rests his chin in his palm to look at me.

"I don't know what you mean?" I tried to deny though; I absolutely know what he meant.
