I was on my way to the library, Mr. Allen wanted me to get the references he wanted me to review for the essay contest that will happen in a week. I got so occupied with other things that I forgot about the contest.
"Hi! I'm Abbigail, Mr. Allen said he left some books for me." I said to the librarian.
"Yes, wait for a second." She turned and stood up from her seat to get something, probably the books. Not long after, she came back. "Here you go, he specifically said there were two of you."
"He's not available." I said referring to Sebastian. "I'll just give it to him."
The librarian handed me the four books. I went on my way, but I was struggling to open the door holding the books in my hand.
"Let me." A guy said.
"Thank you!" Just when I thought he'll get the door but instead took the books and opened the door for me. "You don't have to bring books, I can manage."
"How can a guy just let a girl carry such heavy things? It's no big deal, Abby." Nate said with a smile.
"You sure?" I ask, I don't want to be a burden. He nodded. He helped me carry them all to my locker. "Thank you so much!" I said pleased.
"No big deal, though I hope your boyfriend won't be angry." He said looking around.
"Boyfriend?" I ask confused.
"The guy from the cafeteria, Sebastian." He recalled.
"Oh, no! Sebastian is Nina's twin brother and he's not my boyfriend. I don't have one. He just tends to be overprotective at times." I chuckled at his assumptions.
"I just thought." He rubs the nape of his neck embarrass. Then the bell for the next period comes on. "I guess I should go." Him pointing in his direction.
"Okay." I nodded. "Thanks again." And then he left.

"Abby!" Nina enthusiastically waving at me. She gestured for me to stay put on where I was standing. She came running towards me.
"Woah! What's the rush?" I ask her.
"Did you know that Nate has an older brother that is hot as fuck?" She was so eagerly happy.
"What's the big deal about it?" I furrowed my brows.
"We can totally double date and you'll get married to his brother, while I marry Nate and we'll be sisters for real." She was so happy that she had the conclusion all by herself.
"I don't think that will work." I shook my head.
"Why can't it work? Do you like someone else? Who is it? Why didn't you tell me?" She crosses her arms.
"No, it's just that I don't even have an idea about his brother and you're here planning our wedding." I halfway lied about that, because for a fact that I was really keeping something from her and that's my infatuation with my Literature teacher.
"Well, if there is a will then there is a way." She wiggles her brow.
"I don't like that facial expression."
"Let's investigate." She grabbed my arm and took me to her car and surely stalk Nate's older brother.
After following Nate's brother for 3 hours straight, here's practically what information we have. (1) he's name is Dan (2) he's a senior (3) older by a year (4) likes hockey (5) goes to Blancher all-boys school (6) is good looking (7) has a girlfriend but long-distance, well we assumed for he is always on the phone with someone.
"So, did he pass?" Nina asking as we sat down at a cafe shop, in front of the bakery Dan was working.
"Not my type and I think he has a girlfriend." I sip on my frappe.
"What? He's hot." Pointing at Dan.
"Yeah he is hot, but I just don't feel it." I shook my head no.
"Oh My God!" She faces palm herself. "Fine, I know when you say you don't like that means you don't like it. I surrender."
"Thank you!" I feel proud of myself not being taunted by Nina. I glance down to my watch; I am already late for my shift. "Give me a ride to the dinner, I'm late."
We hurried and by means of hurry, we got there in less than 10 minutes and I think I needed to vomit. It was never a good idea for letting Nina drive with time pressure.
"Thanks, though I feel nauseous." Holding the temples of my head. I wave her Goodbye. I entered the employees' entrance and quickly change into my uniform and rang the bell. "Sorry, I'm late."
"No worries." Sandra the Manager was nice, but she is a time freak but why isn't she mad. "Your boyfriend got you covered." She pats my shoulder as she entered the kitchen.
"Boyfriend?" I ask one of my co-workers. She pointed on table 6, where Sebastian was taking down notes of the orders. He just finished and was walking towards the counter.
"Order!" He places it on the tray and hands it to the kitchen crew. "Hi!" He said to me.
"Why are you here?" I ask him.
"I was looking for you, but you weren't here, your manager was spitting angry at you for being late, so I step in." He explains.
"Thank you!" I smiled. "Appreciate that but I'm here now so you don't have to take orders anymore."
"No, I'm kind of getting the hang of it now." He smiles waving the order notes and pen on me.
"But Sebastian" I protest.
"It's fine." He assures me.
"Okay, but why were you looking for me earlier?"
"Mr. Allen told me you got the books for references; I was going to take it." He said, my face drop suddenly like it wasn't the answer I was expecting. He smirks, probably noticed my expression. "And of course, I wanted to see you." He whispers and went to clean a table and a smile automatically spread on my lips.
And that I think I'm having a crush on Sebastian.
