I was waiting for Nina outside of my house, impatiently looking at my phone for a reply. I tap my phone on my palm pacing, glancing on my phone for the time.
"Where is she? We're going to be late." Looking at the road for a sign of her car.
I was already on the front porch ready to give up my hope for a ride and get my keys when an engine stopped in my front lawn.
"Hey, Beautiful!" Before I could even turn, I already know who it was. "Come on! I'll give you a ride." He shouted.
I looked at him bored. "Sorry, but I have to decline." I told him.
"Awww. Why do you have to be mean?" He pouted his lips.
"Stop acting out and go on your way." I shoo him off.
"Nina's not coming, she asked me to pick you up. She has flu." He explains.
"Is she okay? She didn't tell me." I grew worried.
"She said she just needed rest; she was sleeping like a pig when I left. So, are you coming or not?" He lifts his helmet up for me.
If I drive my car, it will probably break down again. If I walk, I'll miss the first period, maybe it isn't so bad to take up the offer. Nina told him to give me a ride, it's better and not act like I'm ungrateful. I walk towards him and his motorcycle.
"Is this safe?" I ask him. Looking at the black motorcycle.
"I'm always safe." He winks at me, him and his dirty mind.
"I'm not kidding Sebastian." I stare at the seat.
"Common, you'll never really know unless you try." He gave me the helmet and held my hand to help up. I put on the helmet like I was supposed too. "Ready?" He roared the engine.
"Wait, where is your helmet?" I tap his shoulder.
"You're wearing it." He said with a smirk.
"What about you?"
"Aw, you're concern. How sweet, but I'm good it's just a 15-minute drive no big deal." He said with confidence. "Hold on tightly or you'll fall." I grip on his leather jacket. "Don't ruin my jacket." He pulled my hands and wrap it around his waist. "Safety first."
I haven't tried to ride a motorcycle before, I remember grandma told me that more accidents are prone to them. Though she didn't tell me that is freeing. You can feel the wind pass by you, the feeling of something different.
"Are you okay?" Sebastian asks.
"Never been better." I smiled even though he probably couldn't see it under the black helmet.
Not long after we reached our destination. He parked his motorcycle. Held out a hand to help me down and he did shortly. I was struggling to take the helmet on for it got stuck on from my earing.
"Sebastian." I pointed on the helmet.
"You're smart but couldn't figure out how to take a helmet off." He said laughing at me.
"My earing is stuck." I pointed on my supposed left ear.
"Wait." Slightly pulled the side of the helmet with the none stuck one and slowly pulled it safely out. "There you go." I instantly touched my ear, making sure it was not ripped out. "It's still in tuck."
"Thanks." I said I was about to take a step when he pulled me back. "What?"
"Wait." He was fixing my hair; I have never thought that he could be this sweet when he wants to. "All good."
