Sebastian was holding my hand while he leads me to what seems like an old alley. I look around as we walk in the direction, he was eager to be in.
"Where are we going?" I ask as I try to keep up from his pace.
"It's a surprise." He grins as he glances at me. I only furrowed my brows from his words. If it's a surprise why is the location creepy, that I'd think it could be used as a setting for a drug exchange scene in a movie.
I trust Sebastian, so I just kept walking with him and brushed off any other weird thoughts that was building in my head. Sebastian lets go of my hand, he pushed two steel doors and gestured me to enter first and he followed after closing the door behind us.
"Sebastian, what are we doing here?" I ask him as the place was deem with only a bulb in the center of the room was giving light but not enough.
"It's a surprise, remember?" He smirks and snaps his finger, suddenly the lights went on. The sudden brightness blurred my vision for a second but was quick to adjust. "Come with me." He offers me his hand to hold.
"What's all of this?" taking his hand in mine but he just wouldn't answer my question but instead only gives me a smirk. We enter yet another room, there was a black worn-out couch on the side with a table with Chinese takeout.
"Finally, you two are here." Chris happily smiling as he saw us. "I'm so bored." He stretches his arms making a cracking sound. "Ahh... Amazing."
"How is he?" Sebastian asks as we walk past Chris.
"Still breathing." Chris with his usual sarcasm, I snap my head towards him as I heard his words. He only wiggles his brows at me with a smile.
"What does he mean by still breathing?" I ask Sebastian instead for I know I wouldn't get a good answer from Chris but Sebastian didn't answer me at all. "Sebastian..."
"I told you it's a surprise." He gestures to a chair with lights swinging at the top, like in the movies when someone's being interrogated. "That's my surprise." There was a person sitting there, he was tied up in the back and I think also was his mouth to not be able to make a sound.
"What's this? If this is some kind of a joke. I'm telling you, it's not funny." I told him.
"Don't be such a party pooper, Abby." Chris commented as he stands next to Sebastian.
"Go on." Sebastian nodded for me to approach the seat. I shook my head; I was scared but I am more scared of what they did.
"Like are you both fucking insane?" glaring at the boys that were so proud of what they did. "You just tied someone like a criminal. You could go to jail for this."
"We won't." Chris rolls his eyes at my hysterical words.
"Yeah, because mommy and daddy are so rich, they can instantly bail you out, right?" I was so mad that I didn't get to think my words through.
"Can't you just say Thank you?" Chris pointing at the person sitting. "We did it for you."
"For me?" I grew more confused and scared at the same time. Chris walks towards the chair and harshly turn it so it could face towards Sebastian and I. I gasp as I saw who it was, Nate.
"See, for you." He presented Nate like a magician proud of his just-finished show. Nate sits there, he tries to get out of the rope that ties him to the chair but really struggling.
"This is not even half of what he did to us, to Nina, and to you." Sebastian said with anger in his tone, he balled his fist and was surely trying to hold in his anger.
"But this is wrong." I told him.
"Didn't you hear me. I did it for you, he tried to hurt you and even touched you. I'm still being nice in this kind of situation." He says, his jaw clench as he stares at Nate. Nate displays a poker face expression like he isn't scared at all and more like enjoying the situation.
"I understand." I cupped his hand in mine. "But doing this doesn't make you any different from him."
"You're too nice to understand everything, that there are circumstances that you should be a monster to beat one." His eyes were darker, that it he is being consumed by the monster he was talking about.
"You are wrong. You don't have to be a monster to beat one, for you can always kill them with kindness they hate it more." I touch his face trying to convince him that he's better than this.
"Abby..."
"Please Sebastian, this can only lead to more trouble." He stares at me. "Please stop this."
"Let him go." Sebastian ordered to Chris.
"What?" Chris annoyed; he even stomps his foot in annoyance. "We've gone through shit to get him here."
"Let him go." He glares at Chris this time, and he obeys but was surely not fond of it. When the rope was finally untied, Nate stands and bends side to side.
"Finally." He smirks towards me. "I know you couldn't do anything to me, you're just a bunch of pussies." He was unbelievable, he can even make such comments when he was just tied up not long ago.
"Can I at least punch him once?" Chris grabbing Nate's collar.
"Stop." Sebastian ordered and Chris releases him.
"Asshole." Chris spitting on Nate's shoes. Nate only looks at it with disgust.
"Leave now before I change my mind." Sebastian was giving out death glares towards Nate. He curtsies before proceeding to walk away.
"You look beautiful Abby." Nate commented as he walks pass Sebastian and I. Sebastian was about to charge at him but I caught his arm. Making Nate walk away freely, as he finally disappears, Sebastian kicks a trash can next to him.
"We had him." He was so pissed.
"But you are better than him. You two are better than him. If you stoop down to his level that only makes you like him." I reminded him. "We can find another way to make him pay off his crimes." I assured them. "Promise me both of you that you wouldn't do anything like this again."
"Fine." Chris slumps down on the chair where Nate sat down.
"Sebastian?" I look at him.
"If ever tries to do anything to you again, I swear I'll kill him." He kicks the trash can again, making it fly to the other side of the room.
"He won't." I grab his arm. "Because you are here to protect me." He stares back at me with sadness changing the anger he had before.
"Ehem, men (cough) on (cough) me." Chris says mimicking a coughing sound.
"You too of course." I roll my eyes at Chris as I fight back my smile.
"Thank you!" He clasps his chest with a grateful expression.
"So, no more gangster thingy. Okay?" They both nodded. "Now, you two owe me pizza."
