Chapter 7:

I laid next to the warmth of his body and listened to soft sound of his steady breathing. I slipped out of his strong grip and sat up. I shivered as my feet brushed the chilling hardwood flooring. I tried my best not to wake him as I stood up, but at the sound of his body stirring I knew I was caught.

"Addison?" He asked while sitting up himself. I yawned and looked at him.

"Go back to sleep." I whispered and kissed his forehead. He whimpered and grabbed my wrist.

"No." He said and pulled me back down next to him. "I wanna cuddle." He said. I could see the cute little pout curled upon his lips. I yawned and checked my phone. 1:53 a.m. I felt his arms wrap back around me and sleep overtake my body. "Don't leave me." He said and kissed my forehead. I smiled and cuddled closer to him before drifting back off.

I couldn't tell where I was, everything was black. I listened to the screams around me slowly getting louder. I looked around, in all different directions. Suddenly I heard the sound of Liam's voice screaming for me, for me to leave, for me to go somewhere safe. I could hear a faint laugh in the distance, taunting me as if I would never find him. I followed the sound of his cries though, I followed them all the way to the school.

"LIAM!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed but atlas there was no answer. I ran around searching for him with no success. I broke down crying. "LIAM? LIAM!!!!!!!!!!"

Suddenly my eyes open wide, tears still falling as I flared around. I listened to someone try to soothe me. I squeezed my eyes shut and cried harder. I felt a hand caress my check and hold me tightly, Liam. I opened my eyes and looked at him for not even a half a second before pressing my lips against his. I felt him smile into the kiss and move his lips in perfect sync with mine. When we finally pulled apart he held me tighter.

"Bad dream?" He asked in a concerned voice. I nodded and looked at him. He was staring at me with a small smile plastered on his face. He grabbed a strand of my hair and wrapped it around his finger. "Wanna talk about it?" He asked as he focused his attention back on my face. I shook my head though. His smile turned to a pout before returning. "I have a meeting today with the pack but you can come with if you want." He said. I thought about it for a second before answering.

"I'd love to." He smiled and ran up to his room to change into different clothes. I climbed up the steps to see Mrs. Dunbar in the kitchen waiting for us.

"Hi Addison. Would you like some breakfast?" I smiled and looked at the delicious breakfast awaiting my arrival.

"You didn't have to do this Mrs. Dunbar!" I said with a laugh. "But thank you, I would love some." She smiled at me as she got a plate full of food ready.

"So are you and Liam....?" I laughed knowing what she was hinting at and I decided to be honest with her.

"I think we are, but I can't tell for sure. He's the greatest, he really is, but I don't know. Not officially I guess but I hope it will be soon." I let out a small chuckle. It's funny to think about how close we have gotten in a matter of weeks. He's one of my closest friends and still doesn't realize how much he actually does mean to me. She smiled at me and set a plate down in front of me.

"I think you guys would make an adorable couple. He just has to realize that himself!" She said with a chuckled. To make it better I loved his family! His mom is almost like a second mom to me. They've done so much for me, especially with my parents gone, and I couldn't have thanked them more. I flashed a smile at her before taking a look at the plate in front of me. Scrambled eggs, muffins, and bacon! I was just putting a spoonful of eggs in my mouth when Liam ran down the steps and into the kitchen. He planted a quick morning kiss on the cheek before sitting next to me.
