Chapter 14:

I sat on the floor of my room and leaned against my bed. I felt Liam kiss the top on my head as I strummed my guitar quickly. I looked at him and kissed his cheek. He smiled and wrapped his arm around me.

"Play something." He said and gently kissed my forehead. I smiled and looked down at my hands. I placed them where they needed to be and slowly strummed the right rhythm.

"Loving can hurt, loving can hurt sometimes, but it's the only thing that I know. When it gets hard, you know it can get hard sometimes. It is the only thing that makes us feel alive. We keep this love in a photograph, we made these memories for ourselves. Where our eyes are never closing, hearts are never broken, and time's forever frozen still." I sang quietly. He smiled and listened to me. He always loved listening to me play whether it was piano, guitar, or just singing. I kissed Liam's head after I finished and he smiled.

"Can you get any more beautiful?" He asked with a smile. I kissed him and cuddled closer before hearing my phone go off. I pulled away and looked at it quickly. It was a message from Nessa.

From: Nessa :)

Hey, come over now! Bring Liam!!!!!! :)

I laughed and quickly texted her back before getting up and grabbing Liam. I smiled as he gave me a questioning look as I looked around in my closet and pulled out a nice tank and jeans. I held it in front of me for him to look.

"Where are we going?" Liam asked with a laugh.

"Nessa's." I said and changed. I remained pretty quiet on the way over to Nessa's. The truth is, I was keeping something from all of them. I'm only here until the house sells, after that I have to say goodbye to Beacon Hills, goodbye to everyone I love. I guess if I tell him now it'd ruin everything and even if I wanted to tell him, how could I? I could feel him staring at me as we walked up the pathway to Nessa's house. I decided not to think about it as we walked inside. "Hey!" I said and hugged her. "Hi Garrett." I said.

"Hey! Double date? Movie night?" She asked with a smile. I laughed and nodded. I listened to Garrett mumble something before walking into the living room. I gave her a questioning look before she asked me to help with snacks.

"What's that about?" I asked with a weird look into the living room. Suddenly both the boys were in the kitchen with us.

"She keeps saying she can't hang out with me on Saturday...." He said looking at me. Saturday, the full moon.

"No, she's going camping with us." I said. Since Maila and Liam both can't control their change yet, we're camping in the woods to help keep them from changing.

"What?" Liam asked with a truly confused look.

"Haha, nice try Addi." Garrett said. I glared at him before giving Liam a look.

"Absolutely not." Li said and glared at me. He grabbed my hand and dragged me outside. "Addison, I  know you're trying to help but-"

"Liam you don't understand! She-" He cute me off in the same way I cut him  off.

"No you don't understand! I can't have anymore people seeming me like this, like a monster!" I just gave him a sad look. He knows how I feel when he says that. It makes me feel like I've failed him. It's my job he never feels like that, it's what girlfriends do. I sighed and shook my head before walking back in. I saw Nessa give me a quick look before looking back at Garrett. I jumped up on the counter and sat with my legs hanging off.

"Now can you give me a real reason?" Garrett asked as Liam made his way back in. I looked at Nessa before having my attention stolen. Liam's arms hugged me from the side and he cuddled his head into the crook of my neck. He kissed the inside of my neck before I jumped off the counter, arms crossed. I sighed and decided I was being harsh. I looked at that look on his face and frowned. "Nessa!" Garrett raised his voice. I looked at him before raising my voice myself.
