Chapter 10:

I ran through the woods, dodging trees left and right. I paused for a moment to look around at my surroundings. I nearly had a heart attack as a figure stood in the shadows.

"A little far away from school, huh?" Peter asked with a smirk. I looked at him with a glare.

"What do you want?" I asked. I watched as he slowly made his way around me, looking me over. My breathing was uneven as he walked closer. I felt him take a strand of my hair in between his fingertips. I closed my eyes, waiting for him to walk away.

"We've never met, yet you know me. They brain washed you too. Who was it? Stiles? Scott? Liam?" He asked. I stared as he turned to face me. His eyes glowed blue. I gritted my teeth. "What did he say, what did he do? Something brought you out here today. It was them wasn't it? And yet you think I'm the monster, the enemy?" I slipped my hand into my boot and grabbed my dagger. In one quick motion I pulled it out and hold it to him. He saw it coming though and before I knew it, it was on my throat instead of his. "Wow, so predictable. I thought you'd be stronger." He dropped the dagger and stared at me with a cold expression. "What did they tell you about me?" He asked. I just glared at him. "Don't make me repeat myself sweetheart." He said.

"They said you're manipulative, cold-hearted, untrustable. That you're basically Satan in a v-neck." I said harshly. I picked up my dagger and turned to leave.

"And you believe them? With all the lies they told you?" I balled my hands into fists. "They told me you were weak. I didn't believe them until now." I turned around and threw my dagger straight at him, piercing him straight in the stomach.

"I. Am. Not. Weak." I snapped. The flames in my eyes were deadly. He pulled out the knife and smirked.

"That's more like it." He said. "That anger, that's the key. You can't hold back." The rage filled my body as I heard a voice behind me, Liam.

"Addison, get away from him." He demanded. I turned to face him. "He's messing with your mind, manipulating you." He said.

"So it was okay for you too but not anyone else? Leave me alone Liam." I said. Not to long after I got done speaking Scott and Stiles joined him.

"He's a monster." Stiles said.

"Such kind words from you Stiles, I really expected something a little more.... witty though." Peter said pushing past me. "I'm not the monster, but one of you is. Did you discover anything while the outbreak was going on Scott?" He asked in an evil way.

"No." Scott said with a death glare. Liam hand made his way over to me. He placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't touch me." I snarled at him, shaking his hand off. I pushed my way past all of them and stomped away. I found the nearest clearing and looked at the world around me. I no longer saw the clouds in the sky or the bright flowers in the clearing, I saw weakness and opportunity. Just remember; People don't change, their reveal who they really are.

I knew they were planning something, I knew it wasn't going to go down well. I remained prepared, I trained hard. I am not weak, I'm a fighter. I will not back down, never again. I watched as Nessa tapped her pencil faster, focusing on the rhythm as we continued to study.

"Can you not?" I asked with an annoyed face. She shot me a glance before continuing. I got up and and grabbed a notebook out of my bag and tried to be careful, but wasn't careful enough. My dagger slide out and onto the floor. I quickly picked it up and looked at Nessie who was staring intently at it.

"What is that for?" She questioned. I gave her a look this time and opened my book, avoiding the question. "Addison." She said, demanding an answer.
