Sam's POV
1:00 Pm Thursday December 5thI wash the tweezers with a tiny bit of peroxide, glancing up at Lewis who looked tired.
"Doing alright, babe?" I ask, grabbing the bandages. We weren't dating, but we acted like it. We cuddled and kissed— and other stuff. Lewis nodded, I look at him. My head wandered to him taking his shirt off— he had done it before, but usually when it was dark and I didn't see much. I bit my lip a bit.
"Hey, you have to take your shirt off" I say, pushing the eagerness out of my voice. He nods and sits up, I stare. He grabs the bottom of his shirt and pulls it off, grunting as he does. I feel my face get hot and I look back down,
"Thanks" I say fast.
I have him lay on his stomach and I lean over him, pouring some peroxide on the extra shirt and pushing it against the wound. He tenses and lets out a whine,
"It's alright, baby" I say calmly. I pull the shirt away and get ready for the worst part, getting the bullet out. The bullet wasn't very deep surprisingly, I could barely see it. I grab the tweezers and softly kiss his head,
"This'll hurt, okay? But you have to relax and not move" I say. He nods and shoves his face in the pillow. I dig the tweezers in and Lewis tenses, gripping the pillow. I hum and dig it out as fast as possible, ripping it out harder than wanted. He muffles a yell into the pillow,
"It's over baby" I say. I put the bullet on the side table and put a bandage over the wound. I softly kiss his head, rubbing his back. He lets out heavy breathes.
"I love you" I sigh, cuddling him.Jay's POV
"I didn't do it on purpose!" Cameron snaps. I sigh,
"I was just asking.." I mumble. I rub my eyes and cough, shivering still. Cameron picks me up as though I were a child and carries me to the couch, I wrap my arms around his neck as he does, not wanting to fall and get hurt. He sits down on the long couch and sets me in his lap, wrapping his arms tightly around me. I cuddle into him, holding Lewis' jacket close. Sam walks in and smiles,
"I got it out, no trouble" she says. I smile and nod and Cameron lets out a sigh of relief.
"Jay, do you wanna blanket?" Sam asks, I nod fast. Sam spins around and heads into the bedroom, not even 5 seconds later she comes out with a fluffy blanket. She puts it over me and Cameron,
"Lewis needs to rest up, so knock quietly if you need to come in. I'll watch him, maybe Cameron make lunch soon?" Sam asks. Cameron nods and kisses my head,
"Will do" he says.
"Cool, talk to you guys later" Sam says, heading back into the room. I hear the bedroom door click. I cuddle into the blanket, letting out a happy noise from the warmth. Cameron chuckles a bit, still holding me close. I rub my eyes and cough a bit, resting my head on Cameron's chest.
"What are you hungry for?" Cameron asks, kissing my head.
"I'm not hungry" I say, looking up at him. He sighs,
"You have to eat something, you're sick" he says. I close my eyes and shake my head.
"Just eat a granola bar for me" He says, lifting my chin.
"Please?" He adds, I sigh.
"Fine.." I mumble, he smiles a bit and kisses my nose. I put my hands on his cheeks and he playfully shivers,
"Ah! So cold!" He says playfully. I giggle. He carefully gets up and puts me on the couch, wrapping the blanket around me.
"I'm going to get food together, alright?" He says, as if I were a child.
"If you don't feel good or anything, just yell for me" He says, kissing my forehead. I nod and watch him walk off, taking a deep breath. I close my eyes and lean my head against the couch— slowly falling asleep.
