Jay's POV
9:00 Am Wednesday December 4th

I sit up, rubbing my eyes. Cameron's arms were wrapped tightly around me, I smile a bit. The sun was coming in in between the boards of the window, lighting up certain areas. I slide my hand through Cameron's hair, taking a deep breath. Everything from last night slowly coming back to me, I slip away from Cameron and put my jacket on. There was a mirror sitting prompt up on a dresser, I go up to it and stare at myself. My hair was a bit of a mess, but wasn't too bad. The dark bags that were under my eyes days prior were lightning up, and the dirt on my face was wiped off. I open up one of the dresser drawers, in it was a brush, binders, bobby pins and hair clips. I grab the brush and brush through my hair, it hurt, but it was worth it. Than I grab a handful of everything else and put it in my back pack, along with the brush. I dig through the other drawers, in those I found shirts, pants, girls underwear and shorts. I slip my jacket off and glance at Cameron, he was still asleep. I slip my hoodie off, than my t-shirt. I grab one of the dark blue T-shirts in the drawer and put it on, it was kind of big— but it felt nice to put a clean shirt on. I than slip on my hoodie and jacket. I open the drawer with the pants and dig through them, nothing looked like it would fit me. I shut the drawer, but throw a few extra shirts in my bag. Than stand up and walk over to Cameron, kissing his cheek. I sigh and walk out, grabbing my axe and walking outside. The cold hair pushed against my face, sending shivers down my spine. I look around, seeing two 'zombies' near bye. I whistle and they both immediately turn to me, I raise my axe and wait for them to get closer. The one closest to me, comes at me. I swing my axe and slam it into the zombies head, than yanking it out. The zombie collapsed, than the other came at me. I shoved the zombie down with my axe, then swing my axe into its neck. It let out an ear piercing noise, so I hit it again in the head. Than pulled the axe away, I wiped my hands on my coat and looked at the snow. The red against the snow was kind of pretty— until it reminded you that you killed someone. I turned around and headed back inside, but before I could open the door, it opened. Cameron was standing there, he smiled.
"I knew you'd be out here" he says tiredly, I give him an awkward smile. He wipes blood off my cheeks and kisses me, I kiss back a bit. He pulls me inside and pulls away, shutting the door. I stomp the snow off my boots and set my axe down, Sam and Lewis were in the kitchen. They were eating apples,
"Hungry?" Cameron asks me. I shake my head,
"Not really" I say. He shrugs,
"You're eating anyway" he chuckles. I follow him into the kitchen and he hands me a granola bar, I open it and quickly eat it.
"You guys sleep okay?" I ask, looking at Sam and Lewis.
"Mm-hm!" Sam says, her mouth full.
"Yup, it was actually kinda warm" Lewis says. I nod and Cameron sits by me, holding my hand.
"So what now?" Cameron ask,
"We should keep looking for a safe house" Sam says. I shake my head,
"We need to find more survivors" I say.
"Why? It's more dead weight" Sam rolls her eyes, I tense.
"It's not, we have to help other people. They'll help us back" I growl, Cameron squeezes my hand.
"Guys, let's just walk and see what we find" Lewis says, standing up.
