Jay's POV
I slowly wake up, my legs hurting. I adjust myself and Lewis slowly opens his eyes,
"Feeling better.?" He whispers. I shrug a bit and glance at Kenny, who was already awake, staring at Cameron's body. I slowly get off Lewis, and crawl closer to Kenny. Lewis than pulls Sam and Saint closer.
"Hey" I whisper, kissing Kenny's head. He looks at me and than back to the body, I lay down in front of him to block his view.
"I'm feeling better today" I whisper, he nods a bit and I kiss his nose.
"What's wrong?" I ask, he shakes his head. I softly place my hand on his cheek and give him a soft smile. He pulls me close and rests his forehead against mine,
"You better not ever leave me" He whispers with both sadness and aggression. I nod slowly.
He softly kisses me and I kiss back. He slides his hand into my hair, and kisses rougher. I let out a muffled quiet noise of disapproval, he pulls away a bit and cups my cheeks.
"Sorry.." He whispers, I shake my head.
"I love you" I whisper, kissing his jaw. He gently pushes the hair out of my face,
"Alright everyone" Lewis yawns, getting up.
"We need to leave as soon as possible" he adds. Everyone gets up and when I do, Kenny wraps his arms around me, softly kissing my neck.
"I love you too" He says, I smile a bit.
As we pack up everyone avoids looking at Cameron, every time I even thought of him I felt like crying. Than Kenny would hug me.
"Everyone ready?" Lewis asks, everyone nods and we head out. Kenny puts his hood up and grabs my hand, smiling at me. I give a soft smile back, and we all walk down the side walk. As we walked I noticed Saint and Lewis were holding hands, it was cute. Sam was kicking up the snow as she walked, and Kenny was squeezing my hand.
"Feeling alright, baby?" Kenny asks, I nod.
My stomach surprisingly doesn't hurt much, just a few pains when I moved a certain way.
"Good" He says, looking back at the side walk. I rub my eyes and continue to walk, occasionally Lewis would turn around and stare at me for a few seconds. I assume he's just checking on me. I stare at the dead bodies around the streets, there was one almost every two buildings. Some were shot because they were turning.. and then some were just normal human people. Kenny turns my head away from the bodies and back to the street, letting out a grunt of disapproval.
"Sorry" I say short and fast, he squeezes my hand and my eyes trail up the sidewalk. It was hill, and we were almost to the top.
"Hey Lewis" I say, Lewis perks up and cleats his throat.
"Yes?" He responds, not turning around this time. I hesitate, sighing.
"Wh-Where are we going..?" I ask.
Even from back here I could hear him sigh.
He doesn't respond.
We reach the top of the hill and look around, there was a row of houses to the left and a road leading out of town to the right.
"We should go look for a car and leave this stupid town" Saint says. Lewis kisses his cheek.
"I say we walk" Sam growls, her eyes shifting to Saint. I sigh and so does Kenny.
"Let's at least look for a car. If we can't find one, we'll walk" Lewis says, Sam mumbles something I can't hear. Kenny looks at me and than whispers :
"We should leave together"
"Huh..?" I whisper.
"You and I, just us.," he whispers.
