Cameron's POV
6:00 Pm Thursday December 5th

"Who're you..?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. He puts his hand out,
"I'm Saint" he grins. I nod,
"I'm Cameron" I say slowly.
"I've been knocking on doors looking for survivors, so far no one has answered but you" he chuckles, I nod.
"Are you alone?" Saint asks, his grin widening. I shake my head, giving him a weird look.
"No, I'm with three others" I say. He shrugs,
"That's okay" He says. I cock my head, this kids weird.
"Anyway. Could I stay with you guys..? I've been alone for a bit-" he starts, but I cut him off.
"Of course" I say, opening the door the rest of the way.
"Thanks!" He says, I nod.
I wake Sam up and introduce them to each other, than do the same to Jay and Lewis. Lewis didn't like it, and Jay got nervous around me. After that we sit on the couch,
"Do you mind if I go through your bag?" Sam asks him.
"Go right ahead" he nods, she smiles and grabs it.

Jay's POV
I slip out of the bed and Lewis looks at me,
"I don't like him" Lewis grunts.
"You don't like anyone" I hiss, putting my hat one. He rolls his eyes,
"And shouldn't Cameron consult with us before letting strangers in?" Lewis asks. I shake my head, sighing.
"This is survival now, we can't just leave people out their for no reason.." I say, Lewis sits up and grunts in pain.
"Everything alright?" He asks, I roll my eyes and walk over to him.
"I should be asking you that" I say, softly hugging him. He hugs back tightly.
"You feeling any better?" I ask, he nods slightly. I smile,
"Good" I pull away and kiss his cheek. He smiles and kisses my forehead,
"I'll be back to check on you" I say. He lays back down,
"Got it" he says. I walk out and close the door behind me, when I look over at the couch everyone smiles- I give an awkward smile back.
"Hey again" Saint says, waving. I wave back and glance at Cameron, who looks at the floor. When I look back at Saint I noticed things I hadn't noticed before. He had a wide smile, but his teeth were slightly crooked and the two front ones were gaped apart. His hair was wild, he had errant curls. His lips were chapped, like everyone else's— he had deep dimples, but one seemed deeper than the other. When he wasn't smiling he had an amused look, which made me some what flustered— I could see Sam as well getting a bit red over his facial expressions. I scratch my wrist and Saint observes, glancing at my wrist than to my face. I stop and look away.
"Oh- and I won't be staying for nothing! I'm very good at medic type stuff, my mom was a nurse" Saint says, looking from Sam to Cameron.
"Was..?" I mumble, he nods.
"She died— along with my 'little' brother" he says, but not a slight look of sadness came over him. I snuggle my jacket close,
"How?" Sam asks, as if reading my mind.
"They were turning— so I killed them" Saint sighed, the first slight sad gesture he had made tonight. I tense and Cameron's eyes bolt to mine, I take a deep breath.
"I'm.. sorry for your loss" I say, breaking the silence. He shrugs,
"It's survival" he says. I nod a bit and smile slightly, looking down,
"That's what I always say.." I mumble.
