"Chairman, Mr. Evans has been arrived." We both looked at the beautiful lady who were assisted me a while ago. I bet, she was his secretary.
"Let him in." Tito Xavier said casually as we all looked at the door, waiting for him to entered.
Seconds have passed since his secretary left to assist his visitor. The double door which made from glass, suddenly opened as he entered, making the whole room quietly. We watched him to walked in, approaching us. He was serious as he faced the both of us. I bet he was already in his 30's but he looks young though.
We approached him as well as Tito Xavier smiled. "It's nice to see you here, Mr. Evans. What brought you here?"
He chuckled, "Tsk! Don't be too formal, Tito Xavier. 'di bagay." He said, jokingly. He suddenly looked at me, making him confused.
I simply raised my one eyebrow as I looked at him with my serious face. He speak, "Who's he?" He asked, smirking at me.
I simply clenched my fist. He's full of himself. Tsk! Ako pa talaga ang niyabangan mo, tanda.
"He's Blake Imperial, the Chairman of the Imperial Group of Companies. He's here to celebrate with us. He's our new partner, hijo." Tito Xavier explained as I grinned widely. He was amused though.
"Pleased to meet you then, Chairman Imperial." He said, handing out his hand, asking for a hand shake. I shake his hand as I responsed.
"You too, Mr. Evans." I only said.
He stared at me as if he was studying my whole personality and so am I. He has the good looks but I'm sad to say that I was way handsome than him. I sighed.
"Going back," Tito Xavier butted in. "What brought you here?" He continued, making us to stop from staring each other.
"Oh, that." He looked at me and smirked. "My wife wants to discuss a big project with you. I can assure you that project are indeed amazing."He answered, still his gazed at me. "Since, He's our new partner, he'll be part of it."
"I'm sure, it will be amazing as soon as I'll hear it. But where's she?" Tito Xavier asked.
"Actually, nasa labas siya. We're waiting for your permission." Mr. Evans replied, casually.
Tito Xavier was shocked as he immediately press something from the table, "Miss Castro, please let her in. " Malumanay nyang sabi.
"Yes sir."
"Alright, thanks for the permission." Mr. Evans said as the double door glass suddenly opened, revealing the person that I've tried to forget about. I felt my heart skip a beat when she started to walked inside. She's here and she's back now.
"Huli na ba'ko?" She asked, smiling.
I almost forget how to breathe as I watched her walked to us, using her cane to guider to walk. She was blind. My body automatically walked, stepping out to her. I stared at her as I handing my hands but she only walked away from me, not even looking at me.
'Xylean..'
"Nope, not really." Mr. Evans smiled as he approached his wife, she kissed him in the cheeks as Mr. Evans arms wrapped around her waist. Making my heart break even more.
"Xylean.." Wala sa sariling nasabi ko.
Mr. Evans and his wife both looked at me. His wife was still smiling as she turned her face to looked at me, while Mr. Evans became serious.
"Madami ngang nagsasabi na may kamukha siya, but I'm sorry to say na hindi siya ang hinahanap mo." He said, seriously. I noticed how he held her hand tightly.
"Chairman Lee, Again, Xylean Xin Evans, my wife." Tito Xavier smiled as he nodded his head.
'Wait, Again? He see her already?'
Muli akong napatingin sa kanila. Nagkamayan sina Tito Xavier at 'yung kamukha at kapangalan ni Xylean. Nakangiti itong nakipagkamayan kay Tito Xavier.
"Hi po ulit, Chairman Lee." Hindi ako makapaniwala sa narinig ko. Talaga bang nagpo ito?
"Hello hija, kamusta?" Tito Xavier asked, smiling widely.
"I'm okay." She answered, innocently.
"Hija, I would like you to meet Mr. Blake Imperial, the Chairman of Imperial Group of Companies." Tito Xavier said as she turned her gazed at my direction.
'Sigurado akong malakas ang pakiramdam niya.'
"Hi there, Mr. Imperial. Pleased to meet you." She smiled as she stretched out her hand, asking for a hand shake.
I walked to her slowly as I accepted her hand shake, making me smiled naturally. "Blake nalang."
Lalo pa itong ngumiti, "Xylean nalang din." She said, softly. Making her more innocently.
"Oh, Baka ma-inlove ka dyan." Nakangiting pagpuputol sa'min ni Xylean, ngunit pekeng ngiti naman.
'Matagal na'kong inlove d'yan.'
"Don't worry hijo, noong una ko rin nameet si Mrs. Evans, I've really thought she's my daughter. But she's not." Tito Xavier said as he stared at Xylean too, making his emotions to be shown. I felt bad as I realized, I was the one who's responsible for that.
"Mr. Lee, I'm sorry for your loss." Xylean said, sadly.
I don't know what to feel. I don't know kung ipagpipilitan ko bang siya si Xylean. Hindi ako naniniwala. Masyadong hindi posible na hindi siya ito. Maaaring nagpapanggap lamang ito. Maaaring nagbago lamang.
'Kung galit siya, it's okay. I'll just win her back.'
"Thank you hija, about your project.. Ano iyon?" Pagbabaling nito sa isinadya ng mag-asawa.
Niyaya naman muna ito na makisalo sa lamesa, ang kaninang seleberasyon ay biglang naging meeting at pinagusapan ang proyekto na gustong mangyari ni Mrs. Evans. Lahat ay tulala at nakatitig lamang dito. Marahil ay nagugulat ang iba at ang iba naman ay hindi.
'Mrs. Evans..'
Hindi ko matanggap. Alam kong ako pa'rin ang mahal niya. Naging gago lang talaga ako. Patawad, mahal ko.
'Kung hindi mo'ko maalala, Uunti-untiing kong ipapaalala sa'yo ang lahat ng naging memorya natin.'
Nasabi ko na lamang sa isip habang titig na titig parin dito. Napakainosente niya. Masaya ito habang ibinabahagi ang proyektong nais niya.
Hindi ko namalayang nakangiti na pala ako habang pinapanood itong magpaliwanag.
'Mahal na mahal parin kita. Please.. Wag.. Wag bibitaw, Master Babe.'
