Let's Rock Today (A 5SOS fan fiction)

We met up with the 5sos boys somewhere in Ohio before the next venue. As soon as I saw Ashton at the hotel, I ran up to him and wrapped myself around him like a koala, while he spun me around. Ash buried his head in my neck as he let me down.

"I missed you so much." He had to bend down a little to kiss me since he's like a giant.

"Alright lovebirds, let's go I'm hungry!!" Cal yelled as he charged towards a van I was guessing was for us. We packed into this huge van.

"Where are we headed, folks?" The driver asked us.

"Take us to the best burger joint in town!" Mikey yelled pointing his finger forward.

Everyone laughed at how goofy he was. Just like old times. Ash wrapped his arm around me as I nuzzled into his neck. Everyone was distracted, catching up.

"I can't believe you're turning 19 in two days, Lyr!" Luke screamed from the back of the van.

I shifted in my seat to look at him, "Oh Lukey, you're just jealous I'm older than you." I giggled and turned around.

"What are we doing for your 19th?"Ash asked as he fixed his bandana.

"Strippers!!" Daisy and Tasia screamed simultaneously.

"Yeah, right," Cal chuckled "like Ash is gonna let that happen!"

"Nah, I'm not into that, since my birthday is one of the days we're gonna perform, I don't think I'm gonna do anything. I've got all I need, right here." I smiled up at Ash and he kissed my forehead. There was an array of aww's, even from the driver.

We final got to some little burger place in the middle of nowhere. Ashton gave me a piggyback ride, and we were all laughing and running around the parking lot.

"Last one in's a rotten egg!!!" Tasia yelled as she sprinted for the door.

"GO IRWIE GO!! YA YA!!" I wailed as I smacked his butt.

He laughed and ran after everyone. He let go of me and kissed me hard. "We won!!"

"How was that possible?!" Luke and Michael complained.

"Yeah, you were carrying this fat ass." Tasia giggled and I punched her in the arm.

"She's so light. And you guys are so slow." Ash giggled as we walked in.

We got some weird looks as we sat down. We weren't exactly the typical group of young adults. Mikey has red and black hair, Daisy's hair is shoulder length but is pink. The boys have holes in their shirts, and all of us girls have crop tops and short shorts on, so we're showing a lot of skin. One mom made her daughter avert her eyes.

"Pfft, whatever. We're punk rock." Tasia declared and we all burst out laughing, probably gaining us more looks.

We ordered food and crammed into a booth in the corner of the restaurant. As we were all chowing down on, as Calum said, "the most kickass burgers ever", a group of 3 young teenagers walked in. They saw us in the corner and walked over, trying to hold in their squeals.

I covered my mouth so they didn't see my food, "Hi!"

One of the boys in the group said, "Unsung Youth so legendary!! I saw you guys open for All Time Low last year!"

"Awe thanks so much, we were very fortunate to tour with them last year." Daisy replied. "They're a lot of fun. Are you guys going to the concert in a couple days?"

"No, sadly not." One of the other random teenagers spoke up. They all wore band tees and vans, a couple even had dyed hair.

"That's too bad, but I think we have a couple extra tickets we were holding onto." Tasia smiled widely.

"Really?!" The girl squealed. We all nodded.

"You see, we always wanted to be in your shoes in a situation like this, so we always hold into a few tickets for each show. We love meeting you guys. Here." I handed them the tickets. "Also with the meet and greet and soundcheck experience. I can't wait to see you guys there."

"Um can we have a picture with all of you? And 5sos?" I glanced at everyone and they all nodded.

We all stood up as someone took a huge group picture. The three teenagers stood in the middle as we all grouped around them. They hugged us and went to their table.

"You and Ash are so cute by the way, the girl whispered to me." She giggled and ran off.

"Well that was fun, but I'm still hungry." Ash said as he patted his stomach and finished his burger.

He kept one hand on my thigh throughout the meal. We hardly talked, just the sound of everybody eating at the table. We found that the group of teenagers paid for our food before they left.

"That was sweet of them." I said to Ashton as we walked to the parking lot, freezing to death.

Without me having to say anything, Ash took the flannel off his waist and draped it around my shoulders. I put it on fully and wrapped one arm around him. He smelled so good, even if he was kinda sweaty.

"I love you." I smiled cheesily at him as he made a weird face at me.

"I love you more." His accent thick and deep, warming my heart.

I leaned up and kissed his jaw before we all packed into the van again like sardines. We got back to the hotel and went to our separate rooms. I shared a room with Alicia, right next to Tasia and Daisy, and the boys were right across the hall.

"Good night, Mrs. All American." Ash whispered as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Go to sleep, Irwie. We got a fun day tomorrow." He pecked my lips and trudged back to his room as I headed into mine.

I unlocked my phone and tweeted, "Ohio, I'm in ya! Can't wait to explore tmr". I went to Instagram and saw the pictures with the teenagers in the restaurant. Ash was standing right next to me, with his arm wrapped around me. I smiled.

"Can you believe we get to live like this, Lycia? It's insane." I smiled at her.

"You're so smitten." She nudged me as she plopped down on the bed next to me.

"I am. I get to perform with my best friends, I have an amazing boyfriend. It couldn't get any better!"
