(Daisy's POV)

It was the morning after the concert and I honestly didn't remember much after we left the venue. Considering my pounding headache and the after taste in my mouth, we went to a bar. I was laying in bed next to Michael who also reeked of alcohol, how fun. Luckily, I still had clothes on. I went to take a shower real quick and get ready. We are leaving Minnesota tomorrow, so I went into the room to get dressed and pack. Michael has yet to get up and I hadn't assumed he would for awhile. I played music on my phone lowly so I had some background noise. Halfway through folding up my shirts, I heard a loud groan arise from the bed and the shuffling of feet towards the bathroom. He didn't particularly like to talk in the morning, especially hungover so I let him be. I felt Mikey sit behind me on the bed, and it felt weird that things were back to normal. Definitely not a bad thing, but I hadn't expected it to be normal that quickly. Whatever I'm not gonna sweat it. I'm also slightly irritated because I got my monthly surprise when I went to the bathroom this morning, so things were already going so well."

"Good morning." Michael spoke, breaking the almost silence in the room.

"Morning."

"I'm gonna run to the store. You want anything? Chocolate? Coffee? Take out? I know it's supposed to be around that time for you." He spoke sheepishly and quickly, as if he was embarrassed.

I smiled to myself, "Yeah chocolate would be nice. Can you get some Chinese food? I'm starving. I can get coffee in the lobby but everything else would be great, thanks Mikey."

He nodded silently, grabbing his wallet and phone and walking out. I almost forgot that he remembers all these things. But between us right now, I guess it wasn't normal. It's as if we're walking on glass right now. No "I love you's", no closeness.

(Lyric's POV)

A loud ringing sound was going off in my ears. Not only that, but my phone was going off obnoxiously. Pocketful of sunshine rang through my phone speakers, Ashton. I threw my face into the pillow and reached my hand out to find my phone. I picked it up on the 5th ring and groaned.

"Lyric? I've been trying to call you. What's up, honey?" I groaned at the sound of Ashton's voice. Not because I didn't want to talk to him, but because I haven't been this hungover since high school.

"Hungover." I mumbled, rubbing my eyes and rolling over in bed, trying to hide back under the covers.

"Oh baby." He chuckled. "Well at least you're having fun. Calum and I are doing a radio interview tomorrow our time, listen in?"

"I'll try. How's everything else?"

"Just planning some stuff. Hanging out with the fam. It's like 11 pm here. I miss you, babe."

"I miss you too, Irwie. Few more weeks and then you're not gonna get rid of me for the summer." I joked.

"What if I told you I had a present slash surprise for you the next time I see you?" Ashton asked slyly.

"Like a kiss? That'd be a good present, I'd like that."

"I can't tell you!" He chuckled incredulously. "It's a secret."

"Well alright, you ass. Love you to the moon and back."

"Love you more." He protested and hung up before I could argue, knowing that could go on forever.

I decided to text Luke's new 'friend'.

Lyric: hey Allison, you still up to go to Australia for the summer? Trying to surprise Luke
Allison: yeah I'm down
Lyric: awesome
