Dates and late nights

(Calum's POV)

I woke up early, surprisingly, and slipped on a hoodie and walked down to a small convenience store at the end of the street. I bought a couple chocolate milks and some doughnuts to bring back to Lycia. Luckily, it was about 8, so there was not many people walj down the streets. I made it back to our room and Lycia was still sleeping, so I decided to take a quick shower. I walked back into the main area of the hotel room, and Lycia was up, talking on the phone. I sat quietly on the bed behind her, texting the boys.

(5SOS GROUP TEXT)

Mikey: how's tour, lads?

Ash: their shows tmr, but we had a good time yesterday

Luke: we're meeting you in canada?

Cal: I think so.

Mikey: see you guys in a few days👍

I put my phone down when I saw Lycia was done on the phone. "Was that your mum?" I asked, standing up next to her.

"Yeah, she was asking about you." She confessed, blushing hard.

I smirked. "What did she ask?"

"If we were together..." She bit her lip nervously.

"Well, what did you say?" I asked, trying not to sound too hopeful.

"That we just started dating... If that's okay with you." She spoke quickly.

"Of course that's okay." I looked into her eyes, her expression softening. "I was actually wondering, if you'd like to go on a date with me, today."

"I'd love to, Cal." She smiled. "Let me get ready, first."

She walked into the bathroom with her suitcase and shut the door. I fell back on the bed with the hugest smile on my face.

(Lycia's POV)

I shuffled to the bathroom and tried to figure out what to wear. I finally threw on a cropped tank top and some high waisted shorts and a black bow head wrap paired with some vans, before heading out of the bathroom. "Where to, Hood?" I asked standing in front of him.

"You're so short." He smiled cheekily, I stuck a bottom lip. "Let's go, it's a surprise!" He pulled me out of the room and to the lobby.

We arrived at the zoo, and I started jumping up and down. I looked at Calum and asked excitedly, "REALLY?! Best first date ever!" He laughed, obviously grateful that I liked his choice.

"Ready to go?" He asked, I nodded and we climbed out of the car.

We got to the front and Calum stopped someone to take our picture. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close to him, and all I could do was smile. As Cal payed for our tickets I looked at the picture, which shockingly, turned out pretty well. He stood almost a foot taller than me, towering over me like a giant, smiling like a goof, sticking his tongue out, and his chin resting on the top of my head. I was in mid-laugh and resting my arms over Cal's, that were wrapped around my torso. I slid my phone into my back pocket and Calum led me into this huge ass zoo. We walked through the aquarium, and looked trough the habitats and came across the wolves, my favorite animal.

"They're kinda like puppies!" Cal gushed, pressing his face against the glass like all the children around him.

"You're a puppy, Cal." I chuckled.

We walked around the zoo, our hands interlocking. A few fans were there, which was pretty cool, but it was kind of bad timing for a date, though we happily obliged. At the end of the day, it was the perfect date. We made it back to the hotel around 2, and barged through Tasia and Daisy's room, because who needs knocking? I do what I want I'm punk rock.

(Lyric's POV)

Ashton sat next to me on the bed, tapping a pen on the spiral of his notebook, obviously distracted from the wedding plans that we were all discussing. Tasia and Daisy were setting up Skype with Luke and Mikey. Even though it was like 4 in the morning, they were sure to be up. Calum and Alicia suddenly barged through the door, breaking the silence.

"What's up, bitches? We're here to fuck shit up!" Lycia screamed, holding her hands up.

"Discussing the wedding, dingbat." Daisy bellowed back. "We're on skype call with Luke and Mikey."

I have to admit, I am very excited for my wedding, all of my favorite people in one place, watching me get married to the love of my life, my little ball of sunshine.

"We got it running!!" Daisy yelled and tripped up to the beds where we all sat.

"Alright, so you guys know, our bridesmaids and groomsmen assignments. Now, who are we inviting?" I asked.

"Well, we have to invite the Queen of England!" Mikey exclaimed, his voice coming out scratchy through the laptop speakers.

"Shut up!!" We all hollered in unison.

"Where are you guys honeymooning?" Luke asked, waggling his eyebrows. "I wanna go with."

"You don't wanna know that, and you don't wanna go with them." Tasia interrupted, scrunching her nose. "They'll be doing the dirty the whole time."

"SEX!!!" Michael yelled, after his long period of being silence.

I blushed hard, when my friends were talking about my sex life with Ashton. I looked over at Ashton, and his face was as red as a tomato. I had lost my virginity to Ash last year, when we both had a week off and were staying in Pittsburgh for a bit. Of course, Michael and Calum were staying right next door, and Luke was in there with them. It was so awkward afterwards, but we got past it and we laugh about it all the time, now. I was still blushing furiously, and Ashton pulled me into his chest, and I hid my face.

"You guys are assholes!" Ashton said, his voice coated with irritation.

"Sorry bro." Cal said, punching his arm.

"And besides, Australians don't even have sex." We all looked at Lycia, confused. "They mate."

Tasia, Daisy and I bust into a fit of laughter, and the boys just rolled their eyes, trying to hold in their laughs. We continued talking about it up until our time to leave for the show. Mikey and Luke wished us luck and we headed to the venue. A rush of emotions was coursing through me, and a million thoughts were running through my mind. I was anxious for the show, even though we've done our fair share of shows in the past. I was happy that my favorite people were here with me. I was also sad, that soon, Ashton was going to leave. I was wondering about our wedding plans, and how we would make it work with our busy schedule, and if we would stay together, and was concerned about my music career. My mind was a mess, and I really needed this show to rid me of my anxieties. Our fans were already lined up and pumped for this show. Things like this always put the hugest smile on my face. To know that people pay to come and see us perform, makes me the happiest person on earth. When we finally made it to main stage and all of those people looking back at us, screamed and cheered for us, I was always close to tears. Nothing mattered right now, but this moment, I thought. The sound of screaming ringing in my ears and the sound of the drums vibrating in my body, put me into a state of nirvana like no other. This is bliss.
